Reporter: The Sunrise officer on the run from our cameras.
Sometimes we all lose our cool at work, and we can even take it out on our colleagues. But, when you’ re a cop, keeping your cool is part of the job.
So what happens when society’s most trusted public servants turn on each other?
Let’s find out in The Cop That Was Caught Choking His Female Colleague.
Officer: Get in the car.
Police Officer: Just get in the car.
Suspect: Alright I’m getting in.
Police Officer: Get your feet in.
Police Officer: Hey, hey, look at me, look at me, you want to play f****ing games?
Instances of police misconduct have raised significant concerns about the integrity and accountability of law enforcement officers.

Imagine what he does to people who aren't police. Been doing it for twenty years. Stop qualified immunity now this BS will end.
That is the real question. How many others has he beaten and gotten away with it.
That's an irrelevant issue. The issue is the response of the State and the police to allegations.
The BS is 'stop qualified immunity' as if this protects individuals from grievously wrong actions.
Any lawsuit that the courts rule as a violation of the citizens rights and a financial settlement is ordered. Those funds need to come out of the police pension fund.
Make them lose their pensions when they violate someone’s rights
what is qualified immunity?
The female cop has more balls than all the male cops there on the scene. She was traumatized twice once by the Sargent and second by her fellow officers not coming to her aid.
She should be promoted. I wish there was a way to submit my vote, but I don't live in that community.
I couldn't stand there and watch another officer assault a female officer what a bunch of cowards.
Actually she was trying to save her own ass...Florida had just recently passed a duty to intervene act and if he would have sprayed or did anything to a handcuffed suspect her and every other cop on the scene could have been charged!
I see that, now what if she didn’t reall care about what he was doing to that individual, but more so concerned about the back lash her Sargent would face. So she intervened, either way, so dam sure didn’t deserve that. She should of slapped him, it was warranted.
Probably cause she is a woman cop ... still a sexiest world
The fact that they kept recognizing him as a good cop, tells you we cant count on police authority.
Police policing themselves. What a joke.
Never could
@@krane15
That's why we need to control the evil police and punish them. We can only tolerate safe behaviors and heavenly, not hellish.
It really pisses people off man...but there's alot of good cops out there. We just need to get to the point where they are at least 75% good cops 25% bad cops so we have kind of a "herd immunity" against this evil, so they good cops were no longer silenced and oppressed/cowed by gangs of rotten dirty cops.
Departments internal investigation, haha. The defendant is the judge. FO
Interesting how they provided counseling and treatment for the police office who was victimized by her colleague. They never provide any treatment or counseling for citizens who are physically and psychologically abused by the police.
I thought that exact same thing. The trauma our citizens endure at the hands of police is horrifying. Its terrorism. Its disgusting and they are nothing but thugs who think a badge and a gun make them above the laws they are enforcing. Typical of police to look out for their own while they destroy so many lives.
_ "we, the people" are all guilty until we prove our innocence - that is why we are all a deadly threat to all of them .. . ...
Every case he has ever been involved in where there was physical force or a shooting needs to be investigated.
I was thinking the same thing
He has been allowed to get away with it because other officers have been weak.
He just didn't like it that a female literally half his size was physically challenging his power.
Someone should probably talk with his wife and children too. I'd be willing to bet this piece of shit beats them too.

@@fireskycam9889.The untold part of this story is that, if memory serves me correctly, the city had just recently enacted a new law that required cops to step in when one of their own was violating the law or being too aggressive. She was actually attempting to save him from a charge when she pulled him out of that car. He is such an angry, "roid" raging lunatic that he failed to recognize that. They dragged their feet on the investigation just long enough to allow him to retire thereby protecting his pension. Gee... what a surprise. If that were any one of us, the investigation would have been over in 20 minutes, and we'd be on our way to jail. Typical criminal cops.
No assault on an officer? No dereliction of duty? No Justice
A court martial office in the military.

That's the thin blue line for you.
@krane15 EXACTLY!
If the police were held to the standard of our military things would change. Soliders actually recieve punishment for bad behavior.

I bet she’s blacklisted because she stood up.

That cop that choked the female officer was allowed to retire. He makes more per month retired, than most of us watching this do working. Take notice that was nothing about a conviction. The arrest was to keep the press off of the police, and allow the public forget.
no criminal charges? what if you or I grabbed him by the throat? Do you think we would be charged? Such hypocrites.
The case is still pending but it hasn’t been dropped. It’s Broward County case number 22007058CF10A.

Because white neighborhoods are a lot safer than black neighborhood.
Class dismissed, now go crawl back into your hole, Woketard.
The sad part of this is that none of the other cops did anything to stop him. Like arrest him.
If this monster can put his hands on a fellow officer, imagine what he does when there are no cameras. Try to imagine what he does at home.
The biggest irony is that the police showed up in force over a verbal argument between a man and woman and go crazy on the man then the cop turned around and grabs a female by the throat and the same cops did nothing. How does it take 8 months to investigate 30 seconds of bodycam footage??

Yep. Nothing more dangerous than an armed cop with a fragile ego.
I can't imagine what that Sargent, who choked a fellow officer, does to his family. When he said, "Look at me!", "Don't you ever....!". That was a huge clue that he's likely one of the more than 40% of LE officers who are involved in DV! That suspect didn't, legally, have to "Look at him"!
He’s abusive. He didn't even think twice about putting his hands on that lady cop.
👹 demon cop acts tough on kid in handcuffs, and then chokes a smaller female⁉️ can't imagine what he's done and doing to family.
Cops worst enemy 📸
Handled immediately ? Audio, video, and several witnesses-8 months? A civilian would have been thrown in jail that same day. That sergeant looked like a real hothead. I find it hard to believe that switch was flipped on that day after 21 years.
A hot head... looks like a skinhead!!!
Wow. I remember when it happened. I had no idea he was arrested. Good on the department. Now they need to look at the arrest he made to see if he wrongfully arrested anyone.
They consistently said "he put his hands on her throat" when clearly he GRABBED HER BY THE THROAT. If he did this to another cop what brutality has he visited upon regular citizens in encounters with them? He retired with a fat pension but did he go to jail as any other person committing aggravated assault? It will be years but we will eventually find that he got away with it.
The sergeant that choke the other officer he’s been doing that kind of stuff for many years. Everybody else just stood by and watched him do it. She’s the only one that stepped up and stopped at this time. Everyone of his cases arrest should be looked at again.
The other cops were afraid of him. Look how they keep their distance.
That last cop threatened to kill the guy in the back of the car. No one focused on that … just the neck squeeze .
One of the most worrying things to come out of the choking incident is the amount of officers who did or said nothing at the time or after in their reports. The thin blue line I suppose ?
The thin blue double-standard: anyone else who put their hands on a cop's throat (in front of a bunch of other cops) would be arrested *immediately,* not 8 months later.
Wow! The first officer got a whole 365 days of hard time for trying to ruin someone's life? Good to see the police get the same time in jail as a civilian.
I hope you're being sarcastic.
What hard time ?? Don't believe that for a minute.
364 days, not 365. Less than a year has an effect of not appearing as a felony.
This wasn’t a one time thing! This officer has anger and attitude issues. Unhinged! I can imagine and you seen a little taste of how how aggressive this officer was with the public and even attacked a fellow officer. You think he hasn’t attacked citizens. You would be surprised what he has did just never caught or his fellow officers looked the other way
This cop would never beat his wife. LOL
You have described 90 percent or more of America's police force. We NEED POLICE REFORM! We need to change the way we are policed. I'm sick of seeing these cops abuse, murder and break the very laws they are hired to stop. They are the road ragers. They are the criminals and thugs. They are the gang members who break the law without regard to the harm they are causing to our Nation. I watched two dangerous pit stop maneuvers on recently, one on a woman who was 8 months pregnant and was looking for a safe place to pull over, and one on an 18 year old girl who was rushing her mom to the hospital cause she was having a heart attack or stroke. Big bad men who will NEVER face a day in jail or a single fine for the hateful and horrible things they do to us every day. Why do we allow it? Always film the police, always demand that they abide by the law. AND KNOW YOUR RIGHTS!!!!!!!!!
Do you think he's abusive towards his girlfriend or wife? What a crook!
I'm a managerial RN with 40 years under my belt. The last video reminds me of the way doctors treated nurses in my early career. I have been cussed out, had numerous things thrown at me including a pen and a phone. No way in hell things like that would go over now. Thank God!!
The sarge and the small female cop: The scary part is that when he grabbed her by the throat, she could have legally pulled her gun and shot him dead!
He had her throat, he was considerably larger than her, he was armed, and of course - all she had to say was ‘for officers safety’.
I think it’s really worth mentioning that not 1 of the other officers, the brave law enforcement male cops, not 1 of them attempted to defend neither the in custody suspect, nor their petite colleague.
Real heroes!
The only one that showed courage, integrity, and grit was the smallest one there.
I noticed that too. ALL cops should be willing and ready to jump to the defence of ANYONE who is being abused or assaulted in an illegal way
amen
To the others were/are intimidated by that Sgt. That says a lot!
That female cop should have exercised her Floridian Rights to “Stand your Ground”!
One well place round to the forehead!
She had already witnessed him threaten to kill the dude in the back seat and now he’s got his hand around her neck…
you just KNOW don'tcha....................??
I can only imagine what this coward tyrant does to his wife and other women. People this crazy need to be locked up for the public good.
That cop didn't lose his cool. That's something he always does, and the ones that don't stop him are the ones that constantly allow his behavior. Just so happens divine intervention stepped in and made things shift.
Everyone else can say this was a one time thing, but I’ll guarantee he’s just been able to hide his behavior due to not having body cameras or cell phones around during the majority of his tenure at the PD…
@@williamshelton4318 And it was only egregious THIS time because he did it to a fellow "thin blue line" gang member. No one would care had it been a member of the public.
No way. Anger issues like that take years to develop. I suspect he's been doing this for a very long time.
"...every action has a consequence". Rarely when you're a cop.
Absolutely mind-numbing!
No one turned on anyone! She did her job!! Officers must keep their cool, when they don’t, other police must correct them!
If it was you or me, it would be 8 seconds until we were arrested, not 8 months.
We would have sat in jail the whole time the investigation was happening
And some black eyes and bruises
If the sergeant treats other cops like this can you imagine how he treats people that he has handcuffed when no one else is around. I wonder how many people he has beaten to a pulp unjustly pepper sprayed or shot dead
Name & shame these supposed law officers. If he does this in public to a fellow officer you KNOW he beats his wife.
I don’t much care that Pullease had 300 years of Law Enforcement experience. Actions have consequences. I’m a ex command officer in Holland’s National Police, with vast 40+ yr career experience throughout Europe and the world. Officer Stevens acted most honorably, intervening to de-escalate the situation and withhold a fellow officer from making a possibly dangerous mistake. I’ve always wanted that intervening to be made mandatory in policy/engagementrulings.
I hope Florida has also revoked Pullease’s certification and Steven’s has solid judicial help in seeking damages from her exsupervisor.
The problem is it has done not one thing, they allowed a female officer that gave another officer a speeding ticket to have her life completely ruined by officers throughout the state and not one of them has been prosecuted. There were officers throughout the entire State running that officers information through their crime systems clearly in violation of laws and department policies and not one of those officers have been charged or punished for it.
Just imagine what would have happened to him if that weren't a fellow officer. Nothing, nothing would have happened. It would have went to IA and they would find no wrong doing.
I like how they always act like it's an isolated incident when in fact this is true for all cops.
Imagine his poor wife... Had it not been on camera, and out to the public, nothing would have happened!
I saw the video of the supervisor being pulled from the suspect by the female officer that put his hand around her throat when it first came out. I commented on how brave and proud of herself she should be. I'm glad he was charged with this outright disgusting act of violence towards another officer not to mention what he was doing with the person they arrested. I'm now wondering, will anything happen to all the other officers that were there for not intervening in subduing this supervisor from attacking this female officer??? I would imagine they would have been held accountable for NOT having the balls to do the right thing as the female officer did?? They should ALL be ashamed for not intervening when their supervisor had his hand around their colleagues throat. They need to take a long, hard look in the mirror and ask themselves this question, Why did I not protect the suspect and the female officer like I was meant to protect as a police officer?? They're oath to "protect and serve" seemed to have gone, wonder what they said to themselves, if anything, after this incident. Its a question someone should ask them. The female officer did what they were all too scared to do. She is the brave hero in this. She didn't think about herself, she tried to get her supervisor not to make a mistake by using excessive force and SHE got his hand around her throat, absolutely disgusting behaviour from a senior officer. I can't remember the female officers name but I'll say this, she needs a medal for bravery for trying to descilate. She needs to be recognised for this. Shame on all the other officers that stood by and did nothing!!
Her coworkers are cowards. They listened to his commands and they ALL turned off their body cams.

So to be clear folks. A female police officer of only a few year’s experience knows more then the seasoned officer on the s end. She followed the rules and the code of conduct. That is what we need. These damn media piss me off. They don't even bother to mention the fact that this damn cop was threatening to remove the soul from the man's body he was placing under arrest and trying to physically injure him in the back of that car. That cop could have blinded that poor man with that mase or worse by actually following through to do lethal bodily harm to him. But no one gives a crap about that. They only care that he was trying to hurt a female cop. I think his initial intent was to choke the man in the back of the car. But because the female tried to stop him he turned his anger on her instead. We all know damn well if he had not choked that cop something bad would have happened to that prisoner and nothing would ever have been said about it.
Absofeckinglutly
Yup, and then he is allowed to retire with full pension and bennies, and everything goes away. So nice to be a freakin pig.
I love how everyone ignored the treatment towards the suspect and got their panties in a bunch because he aimed at the other cop 🤦🏾♂️
Im sure he liked looing at himself in the mirror a couple of dozen times a day& practising drawing his gun while doing so. These ego maniacs are out of control.
Its the same here in Australia ,where they used to be called the police service & now is actually changed to the police force. They get confused which one it is.
All the cops who did nothing while Pullease threatened the life (I will remove your soul from your body.) of the man who was already torture cuffed and in the patrol car, then attacked the only good cop on scene (I bet her life has been a nightmare since then), should be charged as accomplices to his crimes.
If a cop saw a non-cop act as Pullease did, that person would be arrested immediately. Why did it take 8 months for Pullease? Why aren't his accomplices in jail, too?
TORTURE CUFFED???? STANDARD PROCEDURE DUMMY!!!
Same thing should have happened for each & every cop who just stood & watched a cop murdering a non responsive man,by lynching him via knee for 9 minutes. 7 of those minutes were after George Floyd was basically just a corpse. It was literally left for about a dozen members of the public trying to emphasise the cop was stopping the man from breathing & trying to demand he get off the man’s neck, but those who are meant to enforce the law & who should have pulled their guns on that sadistic murderer & demanded him to stand up & get off that non responsive man’s neck did absolutely nothing while watching a murder right before their very eyes.

Officer Stevens was wonderful. She's the rare example of why we need female cops. She made the decent choice to stand between her superior and the suspect to protect him from harm. Unlike the rest of those cowards that stood by and did nothing, even when she was under attack.
We need more cop like her...a lot more...a whole lot more. Then maybe, in time, we can learn to trust cops again. That community needs to support and rally behind her and cops like her. She should get a medal for doing what was right, even at the risk of her own safety and her career.
Why didn't she use her taser or her mace on the guy when he was choking her?

When cops are sent to prison they should have to wear a jumpsuit with the words on their back saying "I AM A COP" then let the other inmates take care of him.
This cops, "I'll show you" attitude had no business in law enforcement. Nothing like your own turning on you. These people need babysitting robcop style where the cop is led through every encounter from a homebase where every word and step can and would be monitored and guided. The department in which Pulease worked went through deescalation training not long before this incident. Ofc. Stevens was doing exactly what she had been trained to do.
This cop who was called choking is just a bully, take away his gun & badge he is a coward...very dangerous man.
This has nothing to do with public trust. They didn't care he threatened to kill the civilian, but went after him for attacking another cop. How does that promote any trust?
It is interesting that when a cop grabs another cop by the throat, he gets criminal charges. When a cop does the same to you or I, they get promoted.
Officer Stevens i just want to thank you for upholding your oath. Your sgt is the reason Americans consider police the biggest threat to every community. When cops are caught in wrong-doing (especially violence and conspiracy), THEY SHOULD BE ALLOWED TO RETIRE! They should be fired. He should have lost his pention!
The reason why it took 8 months to investigate a video that a blind man can tell this cop is dangerous is they were trying there damndest to figure out if they can sweep it under the rug
On the last video yes the officer was extremely wrong for what he did to his fellow officer. Have they forgot about the rights that he violated of the individual that was better rested by threatening his life. Already had threatened to maze him but he said I was not your soul from your body wish to me that's a threat of death. That is the bigger issue and I thank the Lord that that lady stepped in cuz the other coward officers did nothing
People are people and it doesn't matter what you do to change that common denominator, the percentages of how they act as a whole never changes. The only way to come to a different result is to keep them interacting with each other and throw the ones out that don't give you the result you want. By the time you get all the other people gone, you'll have the result with the few left that you desired.
There is no integrity or accountability with these blue line bullies
After planting drugs on someone, he got less than a year. Wow. Officers need to be held to a higher standard and punished more harshly.
