- Once again, a recording made just prior to the Big Swing Face recording sessions. The tune is Naptown Blues. How about Ray Starling on piano and Ernie Watts on Sax!

The shout chorus on Swinging New Big Band bonus track of this is what big bands are all about.
There is a studio take bonus of this on Big Swing Face that is ridiculously fast.
Also with all due respect to the fender bass, for jazz, the traditional bass violin can't be beat

What months of 1967 was this recorded, is it live,& is Buddy still on Rogers drums here? ( with the possible exception, of the presence of (a) certain Fibes snare drum, yes)
Live, end of January; then opened at The Chez beginning of February.
