I agree with you, for the most part. I think the C1, Cuttlass Black, Freelancer Max, or Zeus CL all make appropriate second ships. My personal rec, even without its release, is C1 or Zeus CL depending on if you value solo flight or having a friend on board more. C1 is the kindmg of medium solo, and i think tbe Zeus will be the kind of duo general use ships
I've been playing for a few weeks now, and I own the Freelancer Maxx, Cutlass Black, and the Vulture. The Vulture was the best ship I saved up for so far. It gives me access to make enough to buy anything in game with time. Love this game!
@@Randaddy25 totally agree. The Vulture is an excellent earner, but it does lose out for me on general capability. It supports salvage very well, and even has some room for a small vehicle in the rear when not fully laden. But it can't fit a snub, a ROC, has no crew positions for a a passenger or friend. It is a great earner, but is limited on its own for variable earning potential support. Salvage is a big earner right now, but sadly it's not exactly guaranteed to always be. Meanwhile a generalist vehicle will always maintain its usefullness through its variety. This my recommendations for a generalist vehicle as a second ship. Professional starters like the Vulture would be my pick for third ship given their purpose will be to earn other specialists or scale up your fleet.
@@Randaddy25 Thank you, as was your choice! The Vulture is easily the best specialist in terms of supporting generalist gameplay (as well as straight up earning potential right now)!
@@ParagonFangXen It's exactly like you say. They may nerf it to death in the future haha. But, as for now I'm gonna try to get every credit I can get and buy every ship I can buy! 😂
@@Taylosh545 it's not an excuse it's the truth. Constantly adding more code, reworking code, fixing major bugs, increasing server demands, creating entirely new systems not found in any other games, etc causes the game to be unstable. Turns out making a giant galaxy sized FPS space sim MMO takes a lot of work.
@@Bagginsess it's good you wanna fund it, this game is a vision for the future tho. It's gonna be played in 15-25years, but if you invest now and think you gonna get anything out of it, that's cope
@@Bankai90 it is not going to take 15-25 years... If you bother paying attention to development Squadron 42 is almost complete, they built server meshing and are beginning to test it, they built a persistent entity system, and they just overhauled a good amount of the graphics for planets. The server meshing and persistent entity systems were the main thing holding back an mmo like this. And with Squadron 42 near done they can start adding the lore and quests to the mmo that were dependent on the single player story being finalized. I have fun right now just dog fighting in areana commander so I already got my 1 ship's money worth. HOSAS costs more than I've put into this game.
I think the freelancer is another great alternative to the cutty and the c1! People sleep on it because it’s one of the older ships but it has 4 size 3 guns and 3 size 2 shields, not to mention 66 scu. If you like the aesthetic and enjoy combat a bit more, I’d go freelancer, the c1 and the cutty only have 1 size 2 shield generator, so they can’t take nearly as much as the lancer. Althought the 3 ships are so similar that it really is just mostly preference at that point.
Start with an avenger titan or a 315p. Next thing you will need a larger ship to carry vehicles and friends. Freelancer max, zues cl, C1 or the cutlass black are all good options. Then if you like a game loop buy the ship for that. It might be salvage, mining, medical, cargo or bounties.
As a BRAND new player to SC, I greatly appreciate your candor on this subject, as its been lingering in my mind what to strive for. I notice there is a link to a youtube video on how to join your org. I play mostly solo atm (I only have about 500k to my name), but I am planning on branching out and joining a group once I have engaged in all the gameplay loops. If there is any room in your org, I would be very interested in submitting my candidacies!
Hello, New to SC from Tarkov! Would you be able to tell me your C1 loadout or are you running it stock? I almost have enough to purchase it in game. Skipping the cutty
I have a hornet MK2 I started this weekend love it. I'd like to upgrade it to the upgraded version whatever that's called but no idea how to get that or even if I can any idea?
100% agree with C1 Spirit. It's my daily driver, which I choose over many other ships in my hangar. When the Zeus will be released I might switch to that.

I got the Constellation Taurus as a starter lol Made life most definitely easier. Overall well balanced ship so far.
Going from the cutlass blue to a mercury, for this simple reason that it has a lot of options and opportunities built into it.
Sad to see no Corsair mentioned.... Use it to smash up to ERTs and have room to carry out any quant or drugs I find...favorite daily driver
Corsair is king!
I CCDd up to the cutty black from the cutter. Kept my lifetime warranty and I believe the war bond.

Thumb up for being voice of reason against dumping $$$$ into this buggy mess despite being a dedicated SC channel.
The game is in development in case you forgot...
@Bagginsess don't pull that drawn out excuse

Would you choose the Inferno over the Corsair? If you had to pick between those two?
I love my inferno, however with the new patch. 😐....
Sorry I’m new what’s the difference between crusader day and invictus?
Invictus is the expo
crusader is the ship manufacturers that are present today
i have a nomad and aurora and im gonna upgrade my nomad to c1 spirit and my aurora to gladius
Dont buy any ship in this game with real money, they are ONLY going to nerf that ship later on... !! :(
I can't wait to try out c1 today
All golden tickets still work😮
Noice!
This is easy don't pick this tech demo up in the first place. Wheels are turning but they are not getting anywhere.
Their server tech is literally ground breaking industry flipping innovation.
