Addendum: Aurora LN can field two size 2 along with its base size one guns but out of the box it is four size 1 guns. This is easy to change in the verse with the VMA but in AC if you don't already own a ship with two size 2 pucks to borrow from, you won't be able to take full advantage of this. This is an issue CIG needs to fix with puck rentals in AC. Tana is also missile boat along with being a front line fighter, sporting 20 missiles and a co-pilot seat that can operate the guns, although the latter can be a bit hit or miss patch over patch as it tends to break and have no other real utility. Either way, the missiles are really nice to have and are what lends to its true multi-role nature. - I did not include snub fighters in this list as they fit in a very niche grouping and could be categorized separately. But mostly they don't fit neatly in a naval combat role due to being parasite craft. Most, if not all fighters in this video can operate both independently or as part of a carrier group. If you would like to see me cover snubs in a future video, let me know. The categorization of fighters here is strictly covering light fighters designed for combat. There are some interesting ones like the Syulen for example, but that ship is primarily a light freighter rather than a front line skirmisher. That being said, ships are categorized by their strengths and weaknesses and where they fit in a combat role as part of a PvP or PvE group. If there is a ship I missed on this list that you feel should have been included let me know below! Always enjoy your analysis. Pleasant surprise to see love for the Tana. I love the look and feel of that line, and felt they could be better used. They have nice alpha, and I didn’t realise they had so much hull hp. The cargo is a very nice feature as well.
it's only 1 of the turrets which is completely useless, it's not even enough to hold a shield down, and the crosssection of that thing is anything but worth it, an awful heap of junk even under a good flight model
It is so hard to solo pvp in a light fighter in pubbie sb the lack of communication makes it hard to survive without constantly having to run away since folks are just mindlessly blasting each other without any teamwork
I am such a bad pilot, even the best fighter is not good enough for me :) But your list is very helpful because you talk about, how to use the specific ship. De Reliant Tana works much better for me after I heard its supposed to act as skirmisher. Thank you and CU in verse
my fav was the blade since either the guns were adjusted to be the same travel speed or close enough that it didnt matter in a previous patch(or im going insane) with really good handling. now with the changes im not sure, even moreso when 4.0 comes out
@@Beanelli main thruster rotate you have a better accel in strafe UP and down, you can rotate thé truster when the enemi ship go away IS a very good ship when you play it well. It's of course not easy to learn and it's a particular gameplay for a hunter, but it's really enjoyable.
If looking at pvp imo all you need to look at is firepower, shield/HP and top speed / acceleration ( like the buccaneer )... then dog fighting doesn't really matter since you can just easily disengage and close in + shoot when you are in a good position. That's why a lot of light fighters are useless since they are fragile and have relatively slow top speeds ( compared to bucc 600.. ) just look at the pvp streamers and youtubers, most area flying buccaneers, since, why would you gimp yourself and fly something else :) or F7A mk2 for insane firepower and ok speed but you have to swipe the Credit card to get it
Mantis small and fast is a true pirate ship, you don't use it to fight anything that you can't control. While in QT Snare you remain lined up to a Nav point. If a fighter or other threat drops in they are usually >6km away you can dump Noise hit NAV and be gone. What about Stealth fighters? Sure but if the Snare market shows and nothing on Dar also hit NAV and gone.
and what would you say the best heavy fighter is i love the lightning but its pretty fragile for being a heavy fighter but it does support a good amount of firepower unless your fighting a hammerhead then it can be shit or not that good for heavy fighters id say the hurricane takes the crown

Tana can have co-pilot operated turrets, this surprised me when I was flying it with a friend.
Can the copilot use auto gimbal?

Little tips : use VTOL on the tana 😉 If you know how to use your thruster this ship is gold
What about VTOL on a tana?

be interesting to see how this holds up when they give each ship its own tuning oytside its archtype tuning
I know it doesn't have a QT drive, but why did you omit the Fury?

The scorpius is prolly one of the best or the best right now. It got the intercepter tuning. Its insanely fast
bring a video with the best pvp 1x1 ships of each manufacturer
really good tl\dr

so you're saying jousting is the most viable?
b-b-but M...Master Mode... it fixed it, j-jousting is bad!
MM is a failure. Yogi needs to stop burying this game.
Zoom and boom meta. Who tf let yogi cook
Still the raft
Can't stand the sound of the Gladius especially its afterburner, its a no go.
Lol the 125a isn't a fighter
