This project file + 2 more are included in the sample pack.

Master & Commander 🙌🏻
Compared to @Underdog and @EDMtips, also great but... Your vid gives more time to inderstand, implement and fiddle around more. Thank you m8 for this tutorial which I was looking for a while now. This will curtainly help me to advance later. Keep it up, you got my sub.
goat honestly
Отличная работа)
nice that im not the only one to use samples for a lot of my techno tracks
top yan :)
good thing i just got ableton to switch from fl, definately going to experiment by using these stuff
Thanks a lot 🫶
you should try start to finish tutorial
can i recommend a finished track preview on your vids, thats labelled and easy to jump to, either at the start or end of the vid.
Hey Yan, been following your music for a while & just noticed you upload this amazing content & tutorials on RUclips!
Ive been DJing for a year and I'm getting interested in producing, your videos might be the ones to make me start. Is there anything you recommend for starters?
Thanks in advance! keep it coming
Well just check all my videos in the Electronic Music Production playlist 🙂
Depends on what you need. I recommend you to read the Ableton Manual (Very useful for everything to start) [not only for beginners]. Advice yourself on Music production with Theory like what does every knob does or every audio effect.
Never clicked on a video so fast 🫶🏼
Thanks for sharing.
You have a very deliberate, efficient work-flow..... I guess that comes from using sampled material that you already know very well.
Q. A lot of your EQ, dry/wet etc. seems to be according to very specific values (rarely round numbers.... 1.46 kHz 32% etc.) that you key straight in to the devices (rather than 'dial' in by ear) and from there only tend to tweak in very small amounts...... Are these personal go-to values that you come back to over and over or are they related to certain established mixing theory?
......I know mainstream mix engineers (rock, pop etc.) swear by a very rigid view of where everything ought to sit in the frequency spectrum, but I've always been very cautious of becoming formulaic.
Cheers!
The way I type in values with keyboard is an old habit and it's the fastest way to do it because of muscle memory))
Also I know pretty well what most of the parameters do and sometimes I have some notes when I'm recording a video like this.
So no mixing theory, just habits and experience 🙃
Great video as always!
I'm using a lot of your advices and after 5 years I came back to music production! SO THANK YOU!
I've got one question.
Let's suppose to arrange this track and finish it. After that, can we consider it ready to send as a demo, or it always needs a final mixing work? (I mean more specific).
Well, you need to decide on that, when you think the track is finished))
If your track gets signed by a label, they might ask for a pre-master and their engineer will master the track, but mixing is your job, it's a part of production.
@@YanCook Do you usually do everything during the creation process (like in all of your videos), or after all (arrangement, etc.) you come back to mixing?
@@PeppeVeeDj Yeah, I do mixing during creative process and I can come back to it after the the arengement for some final touches.
@@YanCook Ok, got it.
thanks a lot! :)
Hi Yan and thanks, i have a problem, when I right click on the utility gain, and click on show automation, I don't have the same configuration as you, I don't have the red dotted line that should be displayed, I can't do the automation in the piano roll, i have Ableton 11 Standard
I've done it 😊 , on my Ableton it's blue, and there's no dotted red line, and it's Alt to curve the line, thanks yan
Yan, do you use any third party stuff or Ableton stock exclusively?
I do, some:
Valhalla DSP reverbs, T-Racks EQ, Comp, Limiter and Meter for mastering, Vulf Compressor for low end, Pigments 4, Neold Warble and some Max4Live modules.
holy
Can someone explain me the purpose of create a new whole sidechain channel off? please
Great tutorial, thanks. Next time is it possible to have a highlight circle on your mouse cursor so I can keep up with the flow. Like the no nonsense style otherwise. 🙂
have you tried Push 3 already?
Not yet :(
What is the sidechain channel used for? I don't understand
The ducking/pumping audio effect.
thx sir. you are using limiter on the master channel. when we start mixing we will need to bring it to -6db level. should the limiter be removed? and we are waiting for a mixing video from you sir.
Why always .3/.6/4?
Как сделать, чтобы как у тебя при создании нового миди-трека там уже был компрессор и спектрум?
Правой кнопкой мышки на канале, save as default midi track.
Thumbs up prior to watching video. Uno how it is
Life is so much easier without hardware
