Friend of mine bought an upper receiver for his M16 that feeds from top mounted drums in capacities up to 500 rounds. Once it was broken in, it would dump 500 rounds of Federal ammo nonstop. Didn’t work for crap with another well known American brand.

what i appreciate is that he thoroughly backs up and demonstrates on comparable terms both the things he believes in field of self defense, hunting and target shooting, and the alternative schools of thought- far better explained than someone just saying 'that's nonsense' or 'see the thing you want to do is...'

The pain (mental & physical), the fear of 'what about my child?', 'Is there anything after this?', and 'Did I do anything worth a damn with my life?'. I’ve been one of Paul’s fans for over 15 years and I hate that his time on earth is getting short. I’m at that age where a lot of the people I’ve looked up to in my life are either getting ready for or have moved on to their next stage and even though it sucks, these folks are going on to something better. Right there with ya. Seen him at gun shows in Polk County Oregon and Chehalis Washington. Still has a 'setting in' kinda feel to it. Especially while watching his Thanksgiving special with the realization that would likely be the last time we see him do his outdoor cooking special.
Paul Harrell will ALWAYS be the best guntuber that's ever existed. He might be a little too dry or too boring for most people but his knowledge and just general way of looking at things and understanding things is extremely rare.
He not only taught me about guns but he taught me how to think objectively and own my mistakes. He genuinely changed the entire way I think about EVERYTHING because of his "How To Spot a Fake Expert" video.

The note about the "do not disturb" sign on the door of your hotel in Vegas is 100% accurate. I was in Vegas last year for a conference and left the sign on my door to keep house keeping out, Sure enough 72 hours later I had a set of cops at my door doing a welfare check.

Having gotten to meet Paul Harrell and talk with him and his crew for a solid 45 minutes or so, Paul is the most genuine man I have ever met. There is no pretense, he's just a regular guy, very approachable and very friendly. It was also cool to see and handle all of the guns from the show. He is a great man, and Roy has big shoes to fill.

Best reason to buy all kinds of guns. Thumbs up Brandon; “because I can”. Converted a Marlin 1895 Trapper LPVO tactical w/side saddle, a Henry .410 w/red dot, side saddle, bayonet (yea, a big huge sharp bayonet), and threw in a Henry 5.56 lever Long Ranger Express because the rifle bag was too light. Why? Socialization. I cannot take the trifecta to the range without someone coming up and asking, “Hey, can I check those out.”
Paul definitely deserves a gold play button. Thank you for giving him the shout out. He's the most underrated gun tuber. Him and his meat target should have just as many subscribers as the other bigger gun channels.

I have been a Paul Harrell's subscriber longer than yours , it's from his channel that I got to know all the other gun channels. Judging only by the content and knowledge he spreads in his videos, I always wandered why he doesn't have more subscribers - but - I always found everything I needed in his videos! I'm sad since i heard about his cancer, I have no idea about his real cancer state but i still hope for the best - we will always have his videos!

@@VL125 chauchat except the butt of the magazine clips to the end of the barrel. in 7.62x39 it's a 100 round non-drum magazine. not hard to find pictures of it.
Honestly, It'd be even more cursed if you threw a Hera Arms stock/grip and a foregrip on the gun with the magazine.

I donated to the campaign and they sold me email address. I used an address that I don't use for ver much and as soon since I've donated I've been spammed with emails from republican candidates. I don't even live in Texas, I live in the communist republic of California, I'm really not happy about getting all these emails from people. I wish I could get off the lists but there's no way to stop them now.
