Talking about Pandas, they recently got demoted from the endangered species list in China. The country is doing well at bringing pandas back from the brink of extinction.
In terms of vibe and leasure, Chengdu is the best city in China. The food is great, city is modern and international with everything you can imagine, but it is also very Chinese as the same time. Friendly people, and close to other places like Leshan Giant Buddha, Emei Shan, to Chongqing, to Yunnan, to Tibet. I love Chengdu, and yes, the pandas are nice too. The new airport will be able to serve many more passengers and the tourists will flock back once the pandemic is gone.

There is a Chinese proverb called 少不入蜀，老不出川, youths should not move to Sichuan and elders don't move out from Sichuan. The reason is that there are too many entertainments in Sichuan. Youths in Sichuan just focus on enjoying lives but not working hard for career enhancement. Elders don't move out from Sichuan because they are so used to the relaxing life style of Sichuan. They just can't quit.
Youths should definitely move to Chengdu. It's a fantastic place to be if you don't want to focus 100% of your time on an 80 hour a week job that you hate

Pandas are the universally loved symbol of China. There is no way the CCP would allow them to go extinct.
Recently China opened world's biggest solar park that exactly look like a giant Panda from the sky to tribute Panda!
