That Uni would sell like hotcakes in the USA if its government would not feel so threatened by this tiny puny little vehicle. Imagine that. The mighty USA afraid of the puny little vehicle. Arcimoto was trying to sell a three wheel electric vehicle for $20,000 and went bankrupt for it. If Arcimoto had partnered with this Chinese company, they could have sold their three wheel vehicle for half the price and would have been successful instead of going bankrupt. That reverse three wheeler has a lot of potential as it is more stable than the conventional three wheeler with the single wheel in front. However, full windows is much more utility than half or no window. Just make it with enough range and fast enough charging to make it practical.
But after trump tariff, would the price still be $5000 ? I thought I saw a quote of $30,000 for BYD seagulf but US will jack up tariff to 300% to make it $60,000 ?
The mountain bike has been around forever. The mountain e-bike has been around long enough, but why is it that only a small percentage of the population actually owns one. Why is it that the majority of adults in the Wests owns a car? The answer is that transportation has to be safe enough for the majority of people to utilize that mode of transportation. Two wheel vehicles are not safe enough for transportation. At least 3 wheels is needed to offer balancing safety. However, 4 wheels is even safer than 3, and also offers more benefits. Cars are inefficient as a mode of transportation for a single person on short distance travel. It is too bad that there isn't a safe, efficient, and versatile personal transportation vehicle available yet when the technology is available. China has a surplus of engineers. Only people who can afford high expenses on electricity. Where does the electricity come from? From power plants. Green? stabilizing the climate? No! EVs can reduce CO2 emission only if the electricity come from wind, sun or water? Nuclear power plants produce enormous amount of heated water. The heat is released into the environment. So the earth is heated up by NPPs. Usually around 30% of the electrical power that comes from a power plant into the grid arrives at the plug at home. So in order to load an EV with 1 kWh the power plant must produce 3 kWh. So in the end it doesn't really matter if it is an electric motor or a combustion engine. EVs are just a trend. Decentralized electrictiy-production using wind and sun on the other hand can help a lot. Many household would have their own energy-sources and could get rid of monthly costs for electricity. To what end? Big electricity companies would have reductions in profits. So the politicians won't allow it ever.

The defining characteristic of autocratic regimes is their insistence on absolute supremacy. Throughout more than two thousand years of Chinese history, during times of strong imperial power, subjects often took pride in the idea that “All under heaven belongs to the emperor; all within the borders are his subjects.” Historically, those kings, emperors, officials and generals who expanded the empire’s territories were frequently glorified as national heroes. In contrast, the capitalist revolutions in the Western world aimed to oppose autocracy, rejecting the return of feudal autocratic systems under leaders like Napoleon, Hitler, and the Soviet Union. These revolutions gradually established and refined systems of democracy and freedom. It is within such systems that many small Western European nations have managed to maintain democracy, liberty, and independent prosperity. This is also why the Western world remains wary of China today and seeks to limit its use of Western technological advancements. The development path promoted by the Chinese government, often described as a “Chinese model,” is essentially a continuation of state monopoly and autocracy. Concepts like the “rise of China,” the “Chinese Dream,” and the “Belt and Road Initiative” are, in this new context, forms of territorial expansion under different guises. Those who engage in benign propaganda for the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) should ask themselves: Do you truly believe that a stronger CCP will abandon its pursuit of supremacy and allow Western nations to continue their democratic and free systems? By observing how the CCP’s attitude toward Taiwan, Hong Kong, Japan, and other South China Sea nations has hardened with its growing power, one can clearly understand why the Western world today is so vigilant and opposed to the CCP.

Alex, are the prices quoted, retail or wholesale and if wholesale, are they FOB or FIS? If the prices are wholesale, then it is misleading to compare them with an equivalent vehicle selling in the U.S.
@@Reporterfy I realize that, Alex. I have been involved in sourcing products internationally for my company including Taiwan, China, South Korea, Japan, the U.S., etc for 45 years. However, when getting price quotations, it would still be nice if your subscribers know which is what in order to have a clearer picture when comparing it against actual retail (MRSP) in the U.S. but if not, then, who can tell the real difference? Several of your subscribers have commented that the street price of an equivalent EV sold in the U.S. is (for example) $30,000 and if the same EV in China has a price of only $5,000, this is an enormous "gap". However, if this $5,000 price tag is the BUY price that include freight costs (FOB - Free on Board) only then one has to add in all the other associated costs (CIF/C&F, customs duty, landing costs, insurance, handling costs, etc) needed to bring the product from China into the U.S. Alternately, if the price quoted is FIS (Free into Store), then the Chinese seller is responsible for all costs all the way from China into the U.S. to the receiving point in store. Such costs, depending on the product, can add another 20% to as much as 100% to the final cost of the product received on hand. I hope you get what I mean. accuracy of information is important or else, your subscribers will be led the wrong way as many don't know the intricacies of international purchasing and there is a very large disparity between wholesale buy price and final retail selling price.

@ every trader is different, I suggest coming to the show

Sounds like you have too much money why do you continue to say wow so cheap. 😢

I have seen so many our Chinese people keep chatting the slogan of stopping learning English, i guess this episode is one of the great examples to explain why we still need to learn English. at least for ur business.
We don't need them here because we already have them here.
Those little sheets are a joke. LOL

Thanks for taking up half your time flogging your ear translator instead of showing more new vehicles. I think you showed three out of 7,200 exibits.
So I should work for free? or would you prefer to pay my entire costs of 5000USD to attend the show so you can watch it free? or just skip the ad it's not that difficult.
I won't buy EV manufactured in China , neither assembled in China .
What are you afraid of? I bought a BYD Atto 3, extended range, owned for 16 months now. I love the it, and it is the best car I have owned. Comfortable to drive, very cost efficient and never boring interior. Quality made vehicle and has the BYD LFP Blade Battery.
Never would I support an elect car from China! Not even if free!
Oh ya why not? But you would accept an iPhone ?
Is it good for you please?
