Wow! This video really makes me want to visit Chengdu! The US really needs to acknowledge China's developmental accomplishments and collaborate more. Enough of the negative rhetoric and fearmongering by some politicians against China!
Kinda hard to convince them when they listen to their wallet instead of the American people but I totally agree with you. Working with China is better than working against China. Peaceful collaboration is the only way to Make America Great Again.
As a person from Chengdu living in Europe, I am very impressed by how comprehensive your introduction to Chengdu is, even including Tianfu New Area. This is the first time I’ve seen a foreigner visit Tianfu New Area on RUclips. Well done!🎉🎉🎉
Your China series is incredible and so well-made! I've thoroughly enjoyed each episode so far. What a gorgeous, green, vibrant city Chengdu is. Thank you for sharing your explorations with us.
I spent 7 days in Chengdu 4 months ago,I loved it. It's my favourite city in China so far, I plan on staying in China till late January, just travelling round, checking out the sights
😂Can you get used to eating chili peppers? Generally speaking, it is better not to eat spicy food from Shanghai or Guangzhou. The food in Chengdu and Chongqing is too spicy even for Chinese people
Another trendy 'location' is the 96km greenway around the city. People loves to jogging and bicycle tools on it and I myself enjoys doing longboard round trip

Our government said once and once again, we want every country just manage own business, but US always thinks we want them destroyed...actually we are not interested at all...The US, the name of US is "beautiful country" if you directly translate it into chinese. When we say we are not interested in hegemony, we mean it, look at the US, they can't focus on their own people, do the right thing for the people is the point.
The irony is that the US(including some European countries) always wants to change other countries, wants them to follow the US way and do things according to the US instructions. At the same time, they also use the media to promote China as an unfree and unsafe country, and even say that China has taken away their jobs and made its people hate China.
I will rate your video 200 out of 100, so far is the best one I have seen about Chengdu in RUclips ! Love the cute giant panda animation which deserves that extra 100!!! I like your style and depth about a place, especially involving the view from a local guy. Thank you for your sharing and have a nice trip in China!

i always look forward to your videos. This one is amazing as always! Thirty years ago, Fu Nan River (the major river that flows through Chengdu) was so dirty that locals gave it a nick name "Rotten River" (Fu Lan River). The gov spent huge amount of efforts and resources to clean it up around 2000 or so. Since then, Fu Nan River has completely changed. It's so clean, lots of green on the river bank. Taking a walk all year round along the river is a treat.

Spent a 21 lay over here. Had enough time to go to the Panda Sanctuary as well as check out the "Time's Square". Also made it to some giant mall and ate in the food court and that older looking area. Not sure the name of the latter 2. Was awesome. Would love to spend 5 nights or more in the city in the future if possible.

Welcome to Chengdu, the so called '4th city in China' after Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangzhou. The southern part of the city (Hi-tech Zone and Tianfu New Area) is a whole new city different from the old city with an over 3000-year history. Thanks for sharing the beautiful views you saw and your pleasant experience!
If you post this on the Chinese Internet, it will trigger a war of words. Chinese people generally agree that the fourth city is Shenzhen. The competition for the fifth city is very fierce, and no one is willing to give in. Candidate cities include Chongqing, Nanjing, Suzhou, Wuhan and other cities.
There is also the ancient town of Moxi磨西, which is half a day's drive from Chengdu. It is located at the foot of Mount Gongga, 7,500 meters high, and is surrounded by snow-capped mountains. There are magnificent glacier landscapes, alpine primeval forests, and countless hot spring hotels nearby, which has a high tourism value.
Thanks for introducing Chengdu to the world, it has been nominated the happiest city in China for last ten years, I wonder why, went there 2007 to visit my friend and fell in love with the city, after living in UK for ten years we have returned back to China last year and we plan to move to Chengdu permanently in 2 years time 😊
