Hey buddy I have this exact same problem. I went through the same procedure you went through, only difference is when I front probed mine, the fuel pump wasn’t priming and I went to start it and still did not crank over. I’d just like to have a second opinion of it being a faulty fuel pump..? Thanks for all the help. Great videos!
What if I have the same truck and having the same problem. The only difference is when I bypass it like that it doesn’t start just cranks. I noticed on my dashboard there’s a temperature light on. Can you help me figure out why it won’t fire up when I try starting it? Thank you
I have a 2003 expedition no crank, no start. Fuel pump runs constantly when the key is on. The vehicle was not run for about 10 days. It just suddenly would not start.
Yoo man I’m having same issues but with a 99 Lincoln nav 5.4. The wiring at the passenger kick panel is the different I don’t see that same connection do you have any suggestions I’d really appreciated it
@@EliTheOBDTech been looking other things up and I found it has an inertia fuel shut off switch. It was in the down position which I believe is to reset it so I had to use a pick to pry back up. Didn’t make a difference. I’m trying to find diagram but haven’t got it yet
@@EliTheOBDTech has to be fuel related if it starts with starter fluid but then shuts off. We replaced the fuse pump without researching first and came to same result of crank no start. Checked fuses and relay and they appear to be ok. That’s where I’m at currently. Checked fuel rail valve and there is no pressure. When I power probe pump I have about 40 psi pressure at the rail…
@@EliTheOBDTech Man! I did not expect such a quick response. I was at my wits end. I will test these two suggestions right now. The fuel pump had been acting up for awhile. It would show empty or close to it. Thank you again! I’ll also disconnect the fuel pump at the fuse block to be sure it stops running . 🤞🏽

You may have contacts that are stuck closed on the fuel pump relay
Hey buddy thanks for showing this tips, God bless you! And I was wondering if could tell what scanner did you use for this video!! Thanks in advance!
Hey bro, I was using the Launch x431 Pros Mini
Hey buddy, thanks again for the video! I just fixed my cousin's car, with your help! It was the same problem! We had to change the whole fuse panel!!

The best thing is to find a wiring diagram for your current model year.
Or replace the module.

I have a 2004 Lincoln Navigator we put a starter on an did a tune up but it crank but no start what do I do
Check for fuel pressure or use Starting fluid and spray inside the throttle body and see if it's starts momentarily.
@@EliTheOBDTech ok where is the fuel pressure located tho
@@toledawolfe9597 You need to use a fuel pressure gauge. The Schrader valve should be in the fuel rail.

Much appreciated!
Ok how do I bypass it???
where can i get the software scan tool? i see you have it installed on your phone. i got a 98 lincoln navigator
It's a scantool tablet. It's a Launch x431 Pros Mini
I replaced the fuel pump with an Amazon special about 2 yrs ago. Hmm
On these vehicles, the most likely cause, is either a bad fuel pump or bad internal fuel pump relay.

Mine does this. Says oil pressure low and dies out.
Have you checked the oil level? On some systems the pcm tries to protect the engine and shuts the vehicle off if it's low on oil.
