Cracker video mate. Really loved the wild flowers all through there, Spring is a great time of year to hit the bush and see it in bloom. As for the Cockies, Mate you would love it here, we get flocks of a hundred or more flying around. They can be deafening though. Not many Black Cockatoo's but plenty of Sulpha Crested.

Tiger Snake already. I'll have to watch out. I thought it was still too cold for them to be out. Although my last bush walk a few days ago I made a point of making noise, stamping the ground every now and then and cause I was among tall watsonia etc was wary about snakes. We're birdies and flower people too so was a pleasure to watch. Although an urban area, Roley Pools is a nice lttle spot. After spending some time there you drive out and forget you're in the middle of civilisation. So it' really a surprisingly good bush experience.

Yeah we were surprised too, I thought it was a bit early. He was pretty slow, just woke up it looked like.

@@westralianoffroad They must have a body clock or something and know it's spring. Although still unusually cold especially at night.

Nice blogging their kelllie, I’ve always wondered why so many towns in that area end with “up”. The only thing I can think of is the guy in charge of the naming job back in the day, must’ve had the hiccups 😊
