    I heard Epic sold over 2 million passes this year. Good luck to everyone standing in line!

    Got my Epic & Ikon Pass. It's a win win situation since I live in the Park City Area. I can drive up to MT, WY, NV, ID, or CO🥰.

    Huge fan of the IndyPass! Skied 18 days easily would have been close to a $1,000 but I only paid $300

    i got my tahoe local pass. its good for heavenly , northstar , and my fave kirkwood. i go right after a long rain and get fresh pow. the epic pass is worth it with the 20 percent off.

    One thing that ikon pass is missing is another resort in the Southeast. The only resort in the region is snowshoe. I consistently get 10 days in at snowshoe each year. The amount of people from surrounding states (Virginia, Kentucky, Ohio) who have ikon passes is nuts. If Ikon partnered with Perfect North Slopes, who owns 2 resorts in northern WV and Indian, it would boost sales in the region and provide some competition for snowshoe.

    If I had the time/money to travel more I'd get the Mountain Collective or the Indy or both. Given that's not the case, the IKON is my choice. Epic areas close to Denver (Breck, Keystone) are incredibly crowded on the weekends, they are far worse than the IKON resorts (Copper, Eldora, ABasin, WP, Steamboat).

    here in washington, Ikon dominates bc you get access to two of the three resorts that are near seattle, along with having multiple offerings in bc, and bachelor in oregon

    • @snowboardtraveler
      @snowboardtraveler  3 года назад

      makes sense. we've been wanting to visit that area. which ones are worth the visit?

    • @levirichardson8505

      @@snowboardtraveler bachelor in oregon is great for groomers and has some unique alpine terrain. As far as washington goes, crystal mountain and mt. Baker are the best. both are gnarly mountains with a chill vibe. Alpental is the "deep cut" spot that I love personally. You need avy gear to truly enjoy alpy and baker though.

    • @snowboardtraveler
      @snowboardtraveler  3 года назад

      Mt. Baker is on the list and I'll add Alpental. Hadnt really looked at Alpy before.

    Very useful information. I`m from Bulgaria and here we have only three big ski resorts. These ski passes don`t include any ski resort here in the Balkans. :)

    Great video, I bought an epic local pass for this year last summer, but will probably switch to ikon for next season. I’m an intermediate snowboarder and a big fan of copper and banff, gonna have fun at breck and keystone the next two weeks.

      How far do you want to drive and what level of riding do you want to experience? There are some in north east Ohio or drive down to North Carolina. Or just drive to Colorado or Canada lol.

    Epic pass is now asking if I want a priority day or core season epic pass. What does that mean? Is it because they sold hella passes that they don't want over crowding or do they not want to refund people if they have to close due to covid?

    • @snowboardtraveler
      @snowboardtraveler  2 года назад

      I think this is referring to restricted holiday dates. You would pay more for a priority day that would be unrestricted for all dates. The resorts are more crowded during holidays so this is one way to limit overcrowding.

      Rentals are separate from the lift pass but you can get some discount on rentals with the pass.
