This is the one and only Vail ski resort I actually appreciate - what a coincidence. Vail goes off to ruin literally every mountain it touches, but this remains a gem.

I’m so sad I never got to ski this mountain back in March. The day of getting to our cabin was the day everything got shut down due to covid.
This video was extremely helpful showing the terrain and what its like to be out there. Much more informational by showing the different depth levels and grades. Especially for beginners and it was a great video. will be following.

I'm a boarder out of upstate New York. Not only have we not gotten any snow cover yet, Vermont and Massachusetts all have strict travel restrictions for out of state visitors. I've come to the realization that i'm probably not going to be shredding at all this year. So fucking bummed, enjoy the slopes out there for me boys.

When was this? I was just their on Sat Dec 5th and the snow was not that good at all.
For the new guys... Another spot to avoid while taking a break is at either end of a side hit. Its not so much dangerous, as most of the time we aren't going in blind, just a pain in the butt for guys trying to hit it. I see people all the time stopped right at the landing. Bottom line is when you stop, look around and try to think about the next guy coming along and what he might be trying to hit.
I suggest buck hill for some fun easy rides and Highland hills for some sweet terrain parks. Both of these are in Minneapolis, MN

re: Vail I remember something off that Wildwood chair where I was going fast on a blue, but over the roller lip was a big mogul field. That was "fun". I did have some epic powder days in the back bowls
