So did I!!!!!! The sound of wind and snow is so enjoyable!!! Happy New Year!!

Great stuff, love it. Cheers from SoCal.
They shoulda done more flips tho, it was a bit boring after a while

"way steeper than it looks" dude it is literally vertical on the camera
Tell that to the hater comments saying otherwise, lol.
@@BoredProgression lol
Yeah it rly is
Yeah, my palms started sweating immediately.
Super narrow, but looks absolutely amazing if you're able to nail the ride. I'll have to hit up Snowboard some time in the future!
I live on the East Coast so something like this would just be a literal deathtrap of ice lol
I know what you mean
I agree with you so much lol
Bro I feel that it’s like 😑
That's the benefit of learning East coast. Then go West, it's so easy. Then head to Japan for pow!
They’d still find a way to blow snow in there too
God, this actually put tears in my eyes, it brought back all the memories of my younger snowboarding days. I had a major accident one day, and just never went back to it after that. I regret it... keep on shreddin. Great video guys
It’s never too late!! I boke my back in 2008 and almost gave it up. But grateful I got back in the saddle! You may leave snowboarding but it won’t leave you.
Hey bro, I broke my leg in three places skiing 4 years ago. After that I was too afraid to ski even though I was a professional skier but i always loved the sport and I didn’t want to quit. So I started snowboarding which change my life now I think about it every day and it’s my favorite sport. I am thinking about re-learning ski in the future but right now I’m going to stick to snowboarding if you broke your back snowboarding and you’re scared just try to learn ski like I did. Best of luck bro.
@@rapha2024 Inspirational story. Brings tears to my eyes to see insane snowboarding and ski stories while in lockdown trying to stay sane. I'll never forget skiing in Canada
@@BoredProgression one of my parents close friend fucked up his spinal cord while skiing and was paralyzed for a while (and is still partly paralyzed in his arm) came back to skiing and is an insane skier.

They need to add gyroscopes to go pros and invent headphones that stimulate the vestibular system so you feel when they're looking down.
That way it would look and feel steep.
@@hypothalapotamus5293 Hahaha. LOL
This is why I love GoPro’s 360 solutions. They really let you see how steep a decline you’re facing.
That dude who hit elevator shaft talked the talk and backed it right up. What a beast haha.
Man knew exactly what he was going to do that day 🐐🐐
The way you structured this vlog, brought so many emotions back to me.
8 years ago my best friend got hit by a car. Every year we would hit the slopes and do stuff just like this. Those were some of the best memories I've ever had.
I couldn't help but cry from how beautiful you orchestrated this vlog. Well done man.
Wow. Thank you for sharing that, man! I'm so sorry for your loss. When I was 8, my best friend was hit by a bus while he was riding a bike. We carry on for them. God bless.
Awwwa Braydon, to bad man for you and your buddy...So sorry...hey Braydon look at the moment you shared with him though...you had heaven in your world on THAT hill and with your bud! Priceless man...priceless...
What an epic day. It’s rare enough to get these kinds of days even when you live in a ski town. To have that big of a group of friends together on a powder day and film that incredible feeling of stoke is really what we call “living the dream”. Thank you.
Nice to see everyday boarders having fun. We aren't all pro doing backflips off cliffs lol. I flashbacked multiple times watching this. Great memories!
Glad you liked it man! That’s what this channel’s all about. Progressing at our own pace.
The music paired with the visuals gives me such a warm feeling in my heart of shredding it in those powdered mountains. Can’t wait to hit the slopes again 😍
This is the kind of video that makes me nostalgic for things I've never even done! As an east coast skier I've never had a powder day like this in my life... but you've really condensed the joy of skiing, and the joy of hanging with your crew, and even a child-like snow day joy into one video. Great shots, great editing, great music choice. Super positive vibes all around, and I'll be watching more of your stuff.
Thanks! From one Dan to another.
Ask yourself.... Why have I only skied the Icy East?
@@chrisdorsey962 My last four trips out west have been marginal at best. I have had super deep snow at Jay Peak, Stowe, The Bush and Killington many times. Then again I ski ever weekend. I love the west and when its good and is great and when its bad it truly suck. I love Alta but one of my worst days took place there a few years ago.
@@mtadams2009 what about Mad River?!
Wow. Your whole video Seems like dream.
Been riding alone most of my snowboarding time.
18 years now started since I was 26.
Wish I had a group like this to share with all the amazing experiences I had.
Nothing beats utah pow. Started at brighton my first runs and lessons. I was there for work and decided to learn to ride.
Been coming back to Utah to brighton and snowbird every year since.
I make the crazy 10 hour drive from LA.
There were times I drove all night just to catch a day after a storm. Just to feel that pow was worth driving all night with no sleep and catching first chair.
Definitely worth it. Thanks for sharing!
The commitment level is legendary. Guess I need to stop complaining about morning canyon traffic!
I'm 61 now and still hitting the slopes, but no more double blacks.. I got mine, but really miss those deep days with no limits. Thanks for reminding me what glory days still feel like!🏂😎
Thank you for the comment and for still shredding! Never stop. 🤙
Just got this recommended and am beyond pleased I clicked on it. Something about the uplifting/euphoric track playing the whole time. Dreamy 😌
I am beyond pleased too! I work just as hard on each and every video I put out. Glad you liked it!
The quietness in the lifts is just too nice
This vid is so unreal, the music, editing and powder just makes me want to ski again

Thank you! Welcome to the fam!!
This is the first video I've ever seen that makes me feel a sense of longing. Great music choice, and keep up the good work and fun
Thanks! That’s what we’re about!
My favorite part of this whole video is how as soon as that guy mentioned being nervous about dropping into the elevator shaft, everyone was like "hey no pressure man" because there's a lot of pressure with all those people staring at you and if you've been thinking about this one run all season, you know the best time for a run like that is on fresh snow. True friends will say "I know you've got the skills but if you're nervous and you don't want to, that's fine too".
And thanks for wearing helmets. There are too many avoidable head injuries, and I wish pros would regule helmets because so many kids watch the pros and think they don't need a helmet.
The best pow days are the ones where you come home safe so you can hit the slopes the next day👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
Oh man, this hit me right in the feels. Love the atmosphere, amazing snow, fun times with friends. Amazing!
Thank you! That’s exactly what the day felt like. Sub for more!
This is absolutely incredible... the cinematography, the skills, the vibes.. WOW. Just wow.
Thanks Emily!
In my younger days days like this were to cherished. It was an easy 20 drive up the canyon fun the home, $20 for the chairs, and we were skiing at the 'Bird. We could see the upper tram towers from the kitchen window. Good going guys!
The camera man's stoke was so high!! Made the video for sure🤘🤘 and that fresh pow....
Thanks, that’s me! Was 💯% genuine. Lol.

Brings back a lot of great memories for me. I skied some of those runs with a great friend of mine over 20 years ago, before fat skis!
A group of positive guys having each others backs and cheering each other on, thats what makes this video so special
This brings back memories! We lived in Spanish Fork 1991-92, skied every weekend all winter. This was before I started snowboarding, but I fondly remember the spring day when I took the fast gondola up, skied straight down the double black diamond route and caught the same gondola again, 11 times in a row. Zero waiting in line. :-)
Imagine being the guy that went down the shaft, hearing your friends cheer you on and encouraging you and make you feel like king when they see you after run, good friends are hard to find let alone keep around
Dropping into marshmellows and white clouds...man, that's heaven on earth. Envious big time here. That cliff drop was gnarly AF. Respect.
It was so heavy!!
I'm a big skier, I do not mind snowboarders at all. We are all out there for one purpose and that is to enjoy powder
Amen bro!!
I'm a skier, only because I'd bust my ass on a snowboard, and I simply don't want to learn by falling over and over again when I already know how to shred the mountain on my skis. A lift ticket costs way too much to spend all day picking myself up off the side of the mountain. Haha. Snowboarding wasn't really a thing when I learned how to ski, but it certainly looks fun.
I've gone down this. You feel so good after.
It’s Euphoric! Watch “Taking the Gnarliest Drop-in Further” for my reaction hitting it.
Plz tell me you have a video for proof, right?

"Hit the high-points" while descending. By far, Tom's one-liner and following narrative is the single best piece of advice I have received on skiing rough snow, crud, or changing conditions. I've spoken to countless instructors from several resorts and I do receive good advice, but at the expense of a 45-min conversation. I'm freakin sold! Good job, Tom!
🤷♂️ Who’s Tom? Lol.
Best instructor ever, now next time I’m up at the bird I expect you to help me down this beast. Also dude this is one of the best videos I’ve seen in a long time, between the shear joy y’all have during these runs and the amazing filmography it was simply amazing to watch. I cannot wait to strap back into a board and be able to do these runs one day
Sir_W _Thatcher0 Haha! Thanks bro! I appreciate that. Was a blast riding with you! Hope to see you soon!

Long time ago I stayed at Cliff Lodge for 5 days during a major dump. This brought back great memories. I remember those runs up in The Cirque. Epic terrian and snow fall.
Nothing better!

Never been snowboarding, but I got emotional watching this. You guys looked like y’all were having the time of your lives. Makes me want to go try it!
It literally changes lives. Crazy how sliding down snow can do that.
You have to try it! I started this year and I was worried I wouldn’t improve and just give up but I couldn’t have been more wrong. I immediately started to pick it up and have gone maybe a total of 10 times and already can turn from toe toe heel and glide pretty fast. It’s exhilarating
