Born and raised in Colorado started snowboarding in 1997 I got a season pass to eldora from middle school to high school, been bouncing from icon to epic after that. Hit me up if you wanna make a Video on the different Colorado race tracks. Spoiler alert High Plains Raceway is the best

Shhhhhh.... Loveland is cold and windy ;)

Eldora gets crazy on the weekends, but the skiing can be great, especially during the week. Loveland Basin is a great place for beginners, zero mixing with better skiers.

If I go in late March expecting to go skiing/snowboarding are resorts open and still snow on the ground?

How often do the free parking lots at Copper fill up? Never skied there and the season's passes are looking good but I don't want to get stuck with $50/day parking.

Not sure if you'd be able to answer this, but are there any of the ski resorts that offer child care during the day other than Breckenridge?

Why "closest to Denver"? Is that the closest airport to the mountains?

    • @andrew_denver_realtor

Since most people coming to Colorado fly in through DIA figured this would help. DIA is the closest international/major airport to the mountains. There are other small regional airports though that may be closer

There are small airports near Vail, Teluride, and Steamboat Springs. The options to get there non-stop are pretty limited. Flying into Denver is pretty convenient since its a major hub for United Airlines. Another major city with plenty of flights close to skiing is Salt Lake City. Most of the resorts near there are within an hour drive.

    Which one is your favorite?

      I personally like Copper

I’ll second Copper as a favorite. It’s where our family skis the most. It’s big enough to have really varied runs and some decent food options. It’s not so big that it’s crazy jammed with people though. It’s also close to the middle of Vail, Breck, and Keystone if you want to try a different place one day.

    Its Mountains, not Moughens.

Not very informative. Nothing about the character of the mountains, and the driving times are innacurate, with all mountains “about an hour/little over an hour.” But thats simply incorrect. Keystone is at least 1:20, Copper is at least 1:30. No mention of time to get to trails? Loveland is 7min, breck 25min. Word?
