How do i know if youre car battery was even dead and needed a boost? I didnt see you try and start it before hooking up the booster. Pointless. Nothing proved other than it being able to charge a cell phone.

I agree wholeheartedly. I have one and it does work, but he should have shown it needed the boost first.

@@balasuriyage It 's ueselss what is shown here, you first start the car and if it doesn't you use a multimeter to show the voltage and Amperage of the battery , then use it.

I purchased one at half price on a clearance aisle. I'm concerned I may get less life out of it if it was in the store a long time. It is rated up to 4.0L engines. Have used it to start a 4.0L Nissan Xterra and 5.9L Dodge truck.

Real Tool Reviews video should have came up before this when searched. You missed some critical information like turning the power off right after the car starts and removing the negative cable first. The list goes on and on. There is no room for mediocre reviews and instructional use on a product of this nature.

But that is the point, with this device, It is fool proof. Even someone with NO experience with car batteries can use this safely...

I've had one for a couple of years. Tested it when I got it, kept it in the trunk and occasionally charged it to full. Pulled it out today to start a 4-cylinder car I haven't started for a few weeks. I noticed the case was split open on one end so I tried to just tighten the screws since they were loose. Screws have an unusual triangle head. Anyway, they wouldn't tighten so removed all of them to find out that the lithium battery itself had swelled. That was why the case was split and the screw mounts were broken. Maybe it was the heat but if I can't keep it in the car what good is it?

Is it safe to storage this unit fully charged inside your car or glove comparment? I am afraid it could be dangerous in hot environments

The GB70 has a 2 year life span especially if you keep it in your vehicle and is susceptible to large temperature changes it will stop charging the battery

Mine did a good job for my roommates Charger when the battery went bad, couldn't use his car without it for about a week, used about 1/4 the charger from the jumper per start, real nice. Won't crank his dead Harley even a little tho. xD
I blame Harley for bad design over the jumper, tho, cause I'm pretty sure we just couldn't get a connection with all the spaghetti over the battery. =_=

RTFM. Connect leads to battery, then leads to jump pack, then turn jump pack on.
It does what it says. I've tested it on a car with a knackered battery as well as on a good one with knackered jump leads in place of the earth cable to simulate a knackered battery. Which I'm sure will confuse many.

What makes it junk? What do you think is a better product? You like to trash talk something yet are mums the word at actually adding value to other consumers.
