Strange. I bought the K669D. It didn't come with an XLR cable. Mine mentions nothing about 3 levels of noise reduction, nor is it a super cardioid (mine says it is a dynamic cardioid). The box art changed as well. This must be a new revision with the same model number. I still love my K669D.
That seems to be a thing Fifine is doing... the K669b was different the second time I bought it. The K688 and AM8 seem to have changed, as well. Fifine, if you're reading this, I'd love it if you could communicate these product updates.
@@tmanxult003 Just in terms of colors available and the cable that came with it, based on other reviews I've seen. Nothing drastic with the mic itself. :)
The AM8 has its own preamps and already functions as an "audio interface", so you don't need to buy one. Sound-wise on its own, I do prefer the AM8's sound.

lol i just got the mic for Christmas and from what i have experienced so far its seeming pretty good
Which is better to buy behringer xm 8500 or fifine k669d
This is just my opinion, but I prefer the K669d. :) It's much clearer. The XM8500 can sound muddy.

Absolutely! As a condenser, the C01u is more challenging to use for beginners. This K669d will get you far!

Good question! PD100 for looks, K669d for price and sound. Considering ng a comparison video in the future :)
