The shock mount for the T669 is supposed to be upside down btw, in order for you to use the gain volume aswell

Great video! I actually did an unboxing of the k669b not too long ago but I also have a t669 and agree that is the better package for the cost. And that detachable cable is great. The k669b though is pretty awesome for the price too.

How is the mic after 2 months of use ?
@@luvtrenchy honestly have had no issues what so ever. The only downside to this mic is the lack of a mute button. But honestly very impressed with it

The sound quality sounds the same but the extra stuff and detachable cable makes the T669 a better deal

great video but the chock mount should be flipped over then the gain knob is easily accessed. the shock mount effectiveness is the same both ways. just look at the product pictures

I am pretty sure the 2 mics are identical in sound, just the T669 comes with accessories, and I would also advice to save up for the t669 because while you only pay like 25$ more, you get a LOT of stuff, and the total cost of that stuff is like 50-60$, so just save up and get the T669

@@marcelagarrido512 it really depends on what you want, the t669 has a detachable chord unlike the k669, so if something goes wrong you will have to buy the whole thing again, also the t669 has a shock mount, a double pop filter, a muffler, and the stand like the k669, so if you are looking for some accessories and a mic that has a detachable cable, then yes I would recommend the t669, but if you are just looking for a microphone that’s not expensive then you can just buy the k669
Nice review, but I think the K669 sounds a bit better even with the wind guard on! Both are good sounding FIFINE Does make a great product but I can hear a slight chance and difference in quality. So for my ear 👂 even though you get more with the T series I like the K sound. 👊🏾🎤

Can you attach the one without a detachable wire to a boom arm without using a shock mount?
Yes, you can directly attach both to a boom arm using the standard mount used on the mini tripod that comes with each. You'll need a thread adapter if you don't have one already, though (comes with the t669).

You may, I know mine needs a gold one on top of the typical silver-mount

There's tons of good options on amazon to get all of those as well, just search for some boom-arm kits, they're pretty cheap :)

They're both USB mics, so directly into the Mother Board

The fifine ones don't need phantom power, and still sound quite good. High quality phantom powered mics will sound better, but the BM 800 is cheaper so it may only sound about the same. Haven't tested with phantom power but that's the best I can say.

The t669 is what I recommend if you can afford it! The Kit is much more all-inclusive!

Sorry for the late response! Mainly, the T669 comes with a boom-arm and full microphone kit, while the K669B only is the mic. They sound roughly the same otherwise :)

T669 is probably the best value, but as said above, the K678 has a lotta go features if you just are focused on the mic & not acessories.

If you keep the mic on the side of your face, that orientation works best for me.

Yes! There is some slight confusion but the B version is the same, as it's just another color version.
For the t669 i think u put the shockmount upside down because you should be able to access the gain dial. Anyway great video :)

why does everyone install the T669 shock mount backwards
I don't know, just seems like the mic would fit in the cupped area, just seems to be a weird design if that space isn't being used at all.
