Next tyre change I was gonna get some 14" 175s (currently 155s) , wider tyre for that meaty look. It took years off your Citroen so now I'm seriously thinking about it. With the Toyo tyres grip you'll no longer be wheel spinning the car in 3rd and 4th so you've added a lot of power, you need to change your speedo so it shows 180 mph max.

No mate, well a bit. I had to hammer a bit of the rear slam panel out the way as it was catching over big bumps on the rear left, but it was only cos it was bent from when the car he’d been smacked up the arse before I got the shitter
I also have a small car. Bigger and wider wheels always felt slower and rigid. Tried 165.60.14, 165.65.14, 165.70.14, 185.55.14, 175.65.14. I am sure that for performance R13 and max 175 wide with lower suspension is the best.

That's why I was thinking of going plain old black steels as silver car with decent paint. I'll rat black steels, or black w purple tint alloys. Those 'multi fits' are £350 for new, but, those extra holes bug me. [ 'on the spectrum', lol ]
I was anal enough to check that 165 65 14 vs 195 50 15 weren’t going to skew the results - and I’m pleased to report they’re god dam close as you’re going to get🤣. YES! Boring stuff aside, they look quite tidy!
The 15’s do have a bit bigger outer diameter,.. but they make the speedo actually accurate. Before it was about 5% out so any comparison I’ve made I’ve put that into consideration,.. because scientist.

size is irrelevant its girth that effects grip performance ......... speed is effected by size. size=speed width=grip . 17 inch was a huge wheel in my modified days ran oz 17s on my 205 in the end i sold them and put on 15 inch league bandits ...
I had the biggest laugh when you started twatting rear wheel with another wheel.They really do fuse to that wheel hub dont they.I usually sit on the floor kicking it as hard as i can and its not easy.
