    This video is big help for me. I ate it on the street doing power wheelies a while back and tore my ACL. Back to riding it again and want to learn wheelies the right way. Thanks man!

    Any tips on side to side balance. Feels like once I get the wheel up I start to lean especially on the slow wheelies

    • @hunteronthebike
      @hunteronthebike  Год назад +3

      Yeah for sure I struggled with that too when I was starting. Really try to make sure you’re not pulling on one side of the handle bars more than the other. Also, try to practice adjusting your body weight according if you start to fall to one side to even yourself back out.

    what about PSI in the rear tire? should it be lower

    • @hunteronthebike
      @hunteronthebike  Год назад +2

      You can, it’ll make the side to side balance easier. I don’t recommend going below 20psi for riding on the road with the stock tires though. I’m running about 25psi.

    My fron't wheel won't pop at all. I do all the steps you outlined but even pinning the throttle from going less than 5mph my wheel doesn't lift at all. I have my preload and rebound adjusted correctly, my chain is properly tensioned, and my green wire is cut. I sit further back on the seat, yet my wheel still doesn't pop. I just accelerate faster. I try to pop it like you would a bicycle by pushing down on the front fork then pulling up but it still doesn't happen. What am I doing wrong? I have my regen set to max, but the regen doesn't activate until you let off the throttle so it wouldn't matter.

    • @hunteronthebike
      @hunteronthebike  Год назад +1

      It sounds like you are doing everything right, are you holding the rear brake down? If so, let off that rear brake until you are up at the balance point. Thats where I would start. The regen is always active as well, but that shouldn’t keep you from being able to wheelie, especially if you are pinning it at 5mph

      Try bouncing on the seat to compress the rear shock and put it in sport mode that might be your issue

    how do you pull the wheelie up so easily? your not even pushing down on the forks it just comes up..i’m having a hard time consistently getting the wheel up

    • @hunteronthebike
      @hunteronthebike  Год назад +2

      I give it a lot of throttle, and make sure my weight is distributed pretty far back on the seat. Yeah you don’t have to push down on the forks too much, just a bit helps though.
