    The first marinara I had was Mussels Marinara. It was a delicious treat in a restaurant my parents gave me as a send off before basic training,delicious. 😀

      You could use fresh, but I would recommend cooking them on the stove first to release their juices.

    Diced tomatoes are way too watery

      Simmering it helps reduce the water; I always have great luck with canned. 😘
