    My collection: two 16s, two 24s, two 32s, two 40s, plus a bunch of random 25, 20, 15 pound bells. No idea where the light ones came rom, though my 7 year old likes doing farmers walks with them.

    Hi Dan. Could i ask for a quick bit of guidance please? I've been doing single kb ABC recently in between sessions with a PT. I can swing a 24kb bell with 2 hands. If i want to start doing double bells should i just use 2 x 12?
    Thanks
    Martin

      Just do the standard variation. But you certainly can do anything you want.

    Simply a lover of fitness, no sports besides SUP (me vs me). Having 2 weak links on the same foot I carry and ruck rather than go for speed. I'm a big boy with a big engine so I've been doing hill carries (short and steep hill) with 100lbs. I've never thought to ask if this was an appropriate substitution to sprints. So Dan in your professional opinion what do you think? I normally do 10 rounds with some form of swing or snatch in between reps. Thank you for your podcast and wisdom.

      I think this is an outstanding idea. I’m a huge fan of hills and adding anything to them is always a good idea. Oddly, I literally, “Rob Lowe from Parks and Recreation, just finished doing some hills as I write this.

    Hello didnt know where to put this comment,do you have anything for swimmers to increase speed or work capacity?

    • @DanJohnStrengthCoach
      @DanJohnStrengthCoach  7 дней назад

      Was swimming, Annie and all kind of weightlifting seems to help. That’s all I can tell you because that’s what I was told by some great swim Strength coaches.

    • @DanJohnStrengthCoach
      @DanJohnStrengthCoach  6 дней назад

      Almost everyone I work with has some kind of imbalance. And that’s actually OK after a while. I have a whole section in my workshop on this and things are are complex. If it’s important to you, then you’re gonna have to focus on those lifts you want to bring up and maybe get some excellent coaching. It’s all part of the journey

      This question gets asked all the time. I’ve answered something along his lines. It feels like a dozen times here. You do what you can do. Do more reps you figure things out.
