Everyone talks about the first album but their are great songs on every one with all three singers. Good to see Van Halen alive and kicking still in 2012!
I have watched many, many, many of these RUclips videos of Van Halen… EVH has constantly been rock solid with his playing and his singing. You really don’t ever see him miss a note, and is always loyal to the recordings. He is so greatly missed, and his effect on rock music will forever be legendary.
Dave’s studio versions of these songs are epic. Outta Love Again is such a groove all around. Not sure what song Dave is singing here though. If this was a cover band, he’d be boo’d off the stage. No disrespect. Love watching Eddie and Wolfie. Great harmony together too. 👍
I noticed that DLR didn't even attempt one of his signature kicks way up in the air, over his head... At his age, I don't know if he could lift his leg waist-high. I guess I'll give him a pass, though... I can't do most of the shit I was doing 30 yrs ago!

To me Dave looks more like a hired employee working for Van Halen inc. It's like he is up there doing his thing without getting fired so he can get paid. Like there's no stage chemistry, its all showbiz between him and the rest of the members. The only chemistry is between the family members.

Think about the brutality of the vocals on "ON FIRE" - damn it - Try singing THAT Song every night, or every other night for the entire first 2 Tours. That alone would bust ANYONES Vocal Cords...
Dave talking all over Ed's intro sucked. Ed missing harmonics and not playing it like the album (that is to say, awkwardly) sucked. Ed TRYING to replicate the album solo on Outta Love Again but failing..... Just cringy.
Dave would atleast look somewhat cool if hed dress cool. Hot stage & hes wearing a sweater with a few shirts over that . He went from being the coolest to the squarest
