Roth was great from 76-83 after that they should of never let him back in the band.. Van Halen would of been better off having a Roth impersonator ! it's SO hard to listen and watch these videos.
Nobody has commented on the bang on harmonies, man Ed and Wolfgang sing well and loud! Glod bless you Eddie! Can't help but tear up anytime I see him play, biggest guitar player and innovator ever! The mighty Van Halen nuff said!

Watching Eddie in his late 50's and next tour pushing 60 playing as good as he ever has is further proof ( if anyone needed any) that he is without out doubt the greatest guitar player to pick it up. There is no one that age or close that can play that high level amd still that effortlessly. Clapton can barely steing more than two notes together anymore. He's a one note buddy guy type now. Hendrix just wasn't on Ed's playing level at anytime of his career amd had he'd been alive to see Edward come to and take over, his jaw would have dropped as fast as anyone's. The same way Claptons jaw dropped when seeing Hendrix for first time. There is no one that could have aged that long and still played that well.

How talking about what a creative and beautiful intro to a song that was ever done and very awesome Eddie still kicking it live I would love it without lyrics.
I saw this tour a few weeks earlier at MSG in New York. It was a great time! Missed the other tour they had in 2015, so hopefully they can come around again.
WOW!!! This is the BEST rendition of WOMEN IN LOVE, yet. Dave finally does this song straight. He sings all the original lyrics from the record (well, almost all - very few exceptions) and your filming is superb and close. Marvel in this performance of WOMEN IN LOVE, followed by a bad-ass OUTTA LOVE AGAIN. And you ROCK, frontrowdave1!!!

For all those naysayers that say Dave can't sing, they are so full of shit! In my band the vocalist pointed out that Dave sounds like he has this nasty flu thats gone around that really effects the vocal chords. Notice how between the vocal lines Dave always takes a deep brealth & insteads coughs. Thats the sign right there Dave's suffering from this nasty flu. Yet Dave like a real tropper sings through the pain. Plus anyone notice at the concerts he's talking less between songs. More proof!

Dave sounded more like the way he sang back in the day on "Outta Love Again." He sounds best when he stays in his classic lower register.
