    Please don't use a dark yarn bc it's too difficult to see clearly.

    • @vickenator
      @vickenator 2 года назад +7

      I think the dark yarn could work fine but would need brighter backlighting behind the crocheter so it brightens the stitches a bit.

    Thank you so much for this tutorial ! You explained this very well. I’m gonna try and make this I am a beginner on crocheting. My mother passed away 4 months ago an I went into a deep depression even came close to taking my own life. But crocheting has saved me it helps relax me an it keeps my mind from wondering off where it should not go. Thank you again for making this video I can’t wait to try and make this! Hope you stay healthy and blessed !

    Thank you Melody. I made mine a little big bigger than yours, and multi-color. It came out very pretty! I'm going to use it to hold my pill and vitamin bottles, all in one place. (Clue that I'm a senior already, haha) 🙂 The little one could be used to hold the bathroom disposable cups, which I've seen disappear from my supermarket shelves, but I still get the plastic ones at Target. Another possible use would be to put your socks inside a dresser. Or on the outside of a planter. So many uses!!! 🙂🙂

    Have you thought to do a video to teach children? You would be good at it. Just use a light color so you can see the stitches. I like to count my stitches with each row’s increase and place a marker in the double stitches. I mark my circle before I start my row so I know where to put the double stitch to keep track. I learn this while making this. I to am using a dark color yarn. Thank you for sharing you basket tutorial.

  • @janelynch7150

    Hi, just to clarify after the front loop only row, do you do 6 more rows of half double crochet in each V and do 1 row of back loop only then 7 more rows of half double crochet in each V? Also, Do you slip stitch and chain one at the end of each row?
    The video seems to skip a couple of steps. The back loop row and how to finish the row after the front loop row only. But other than that so far so good.

    • @ashleysantos5233
      @ashleysantos5233 2 года назад

      Yeah so we do one more stitch for the part where it makes it more strong because i have one half double crochet ( the first one making it curve) and then the 6 other rows and so in total 7 including the first one making it curve ?
