He is there, but only as Easter eggs(more or less). For example, he does show up during the attack by Galvatron, when the Autobots are fleeing in their spaceship. But he never got any iconic moments or lines like Grimlock, Slag and Swoop.

Looks like another homerun from the Studio Series 86 Dinobots line. The only thing holding him back from being perfect is the gold plastic as opposed to painted gold parts.
The instructions don't mention it, but his legs shift slightly out for robot mode, hiding that small hole on the outside of his thigh, and causing the block on the inside to go away
Should have gone with a matching GOLD head. The Yellow sticks out like a sore thumb. Or conversely, the others should have used Yellow instead, more cartoon accurate.
I totally cant wait to get my snarl now, cross him off the list of figures I'm after. Looking forward to seeing how they do Swoop, also my number 1 most wanted figure I'm wanting now is that Nemesis that's gonna look awesome next to The Ark, might have to figure out how to create a boarding chute and something for the tracker beams to connect them both like in the 1st episode. Anyway another awesome vid enjoy everything to do thank you.
"Me Snarl make big boom-boom on floor". LOL took me a bit to realize that Snarl meant that he took a huge dump on the floor. I was actually thinking that he was referring to him making boom-boom noises on the floor as he walked before it hit me.
I hope some third party makes an upgrade kit for the tail, as it is right now it is a bit small and awkwardly placed in dino mode. Other than that this figure look great, not quite a home run, but he definitely got to third base.
They did a good job in detail on the hidden pieces. So far I only have 2 of the 3 that are retail released. I'm still waiting until I can afford him. I hope Swoop is done in the near future.

Just got Snarl a few minutes ago at Target. I only need SS Swoop to display with Grimlock, Slag, Sludge, and Snarl and I will have all 5 of the SS Dinobots 😀
Wow other transformers need to take notes! This one has barely any hollow parts and hides the kibble so well! If only all of them could do that. This makes me super hopeful for figures in the future 💕💕
Ok I need to get my collection under control. With stuff in two different states this is getting trickey, especially with anxiety having entered my life. Anyways panicked as I thought i had missed out on this as I never get figures before EmGo. I instantly bought 2 of them on my way home from vacation, and with Amazons overnight delivery they were here when I got here, so I chucked them into the garage with the rest of my unopened collection. Oddly next to an eerily similar shaped box. Turns out I've had mine for months now.
5:16 I believe you have Snarl’s legs mistransformed. The joints behind the knees are a slider joint meant to push outward so he doesn’t look knock-kneed.

Just opened mine. Love bot mode. Dino mode is, meh, ok. The spikes on the end of the tail are blast effect compatible, so it's accurate to how he used his tail to fire lasers.
As a current owner of Studio Series Slug, I wish I had Studio Series Snarl, Grimlock and Sludge in my collection. But I probably won't be able to get them due to lack of space. Plus I already have Power of the Primes Dinobots to make up for it.
I swear to god, I don’t care how great these G1 studio series dinobot figures are, I do not give a shit I want the Age of Extinction Dinobots to come out since we haven’t had one come out since the first only one we got was 5 years ago
I just got Snarl today, but it was nearly defective. The dino-leg won't come out of the left forearm unless I remove a screw. The leg rotated properly after that. I'm not sure what the screw is for since the leg still swivels on that axis. It's still pretty tight too.
The dino head not snapping together still bugs me, and this version doesn't have much of a neck compared to the earlier versions. Nice figure overall though.

I've been debating whether or not to get any of the other Dinobots or to just stick with Grimlock. They're a bit too expensive for me to justify a purchase since I don't care as much for the others, and especially not for their lumpy potato dino modes. I might get Swoop though, since I do quite like him.

My only gripe with Snarl is that the tail spikes are too short, even for cartoon accuracy, and the tail itself is angled to low to the ground.

The way Snarl is hunched like that and the tail almost flat to the ground makes him look like he's afraid and cornered, about to lash out.

My Sludge's joints are fine, must've been fixed after a bad batch. Apparently it's an easy fix anyway but you'll need a screwdriver

If you open up the panels on the neck a bit , he can look up. But it will sacrifice the overall looking of the Dino mode.
