Thanks for watching!! The Alps are incredible but I do feel lucky that I live in Oregon where there are far less people on the trails.
I will share this with my son, as he is always looking for the longer hikes.
Yes most of these are pretty long.
The Alps are so beautiful someday I hope to see them 😁 that wallowa trip was my favorite of the year.
Our trip in the wallowas was truly delightful. So much fun!

Wallowas made it into the video last year also. As long as I go there it will always be some of my favorite hikes. That area is spectacular!!

The Swiss Alps are the best! Back in August/September I hiked the Haute Route from Chamonix to Zermatt. Incredible scenery & weather. It was sunny everyday. It was a leg burner going over 13 mountain passes in 11 days.
WOW 11 days! That sounds like an epic trip!!!
Great video…nothing quite compares with the Alps…..in 2019 we did Tour Mont Blanc……the scenery was incredible!

Man, I wish I didn't over look sliver an golden falls! I didn't wanna go all the way up there an check it out because the All Trail app reviews on the falls were not so friendly an people talked about the road being quiet rough too
The road is quite rough. And long. But i think it’s worth it if you’re already in that area. The falls are spectacular.

What is top 10 winter hikes?
Does anyone know if Serene Lake is accessible now?
It most definitely is not. It likely won’t be accessible until end of May or early June.
What is top 10 winter backpacking hikes?
I don’t generally do a lot of backpacking in the winter in Oregon because of the the incredibly short days and the bad weather.
