    How are you hanging on the wall? Sawtooth hanger or similar? Thanks! This was great, I'm all ready to start mine!

    • @HollyBerryDesign
      @HollyBerryDesign  6 лет назад +1

      Kim Geistkemper I use command picture hanging strips. They are easy and don’t do any damage to your walls.

    Thank you for this! I see this was done a year ago. Have you noticed any peeling?

    • @HollyBerryDesign
      @HollyBerryDesign  5 лет назад

      Living the Calixte life! No, absolutely no peeling. When you heat the vinyl like this, it melts into the paint a little and is permanent.

      Holly Berry Design thank you :) wanted to make one for someone but I didn’t want my gift to peel on them in years to come

    • @HollyBerryDesign

      Living the Calixte life! I also added 651 vinyl to a wooden sign that has a lot of texture about the same time. I used the heat gun method to adhere this vinyl and have had no peeling from this either.

      Holly Berry Design awesome! What temperature was your heat on? Think I’m going to purchase the heat gun you have! Do you have an affiliate link? I’d love to support you as your the reason I found out about it!

      Living the Calixte life! No affiliate link. This is the one I use. m.lowes.com/pd/PORTER-CABLE-Heat-Gun/3341122
      It has dial for the temperature. I usually set it right in the middle.

    Could you staple it on the frame and then add your design, and can I use a hairdryer if I don't have a heat gun? Thanks

    • @HollyBerryDesign

      Shelley Maezes my experience is that when you use your hair dryer for crafting it tends to burn out pretty fast. (I have personally killed one!)

    • @HollyBerryDesign
      @HollyBerryDesign  6 лет назад

      The paint used on the canvas is dylusions by Ranger. This can be found online or at any craft store.

    Can you use chalk paint to paint your canvas

    • @HollyBerryDesign
      @HollyBerryDesign  6 лет назад

      Kimberly Collins - I have never tried it with chalk paint. It seems like it should, if you try it let me know.

      I have, and it works fine. No problem with adhering the vinyl either.

    I really don’t understand people’s problem with Cricut transfer tape!

    • @HollyBerryDesign
      @HollyBerryDesign  6 лет назад +1

      I have never had any issues with it. I see comments over and over how people don’t like it, but it works great for me. Much better than others I have tried. FYI it is on sale on cricut.com right now. 30 feet for $17 after discount codes.
