What a great tip, for preventing the drill from sliding on tiles. I used a possie screwdriver, nearest thing, to hand that was like a center punch. Worked great!
Thank you for the video. I used the final suggestion for fitting the shower using an elbow and short vertical piece of copper pipe. Absolutely fantastic and so simple. Thanks again.
3:14 Also don't drill the hole too big or the water will seep through the hole...!! The plastic unit is only 4mm away from the hole being exposed to the water and not behind the protective capping.
Hiya mate... great informative video, but I was kind of hoping it would extend to some troubleshooting points too... I’ve just moved into a Military Quarter (House) and it has one of these showers, but it’s not giving out any hot water!! The move in report says it was tested and the water temperature was reaching 47 degrees but I went to have a shower last night before bed and it wasn’t even getting Luke warm!! Do you have any ideas what it might be? Any help would be much appreciated 👍🏼
I’m planning to removing one of these units (as it’s slightly damaged) with a direct replacement Bristan Joy. Will I be able to easily remove the unit from the pipe work? That collet looks like it could cause difficulty when removing the unit
Mazambel... Electric showers are always connected to the cold water pipe and a boiler inside the electric shower heats the water. I installed my electric shower for the first time yesterday.
I fit these showers on a daily basis these are the worse showers you can have always get a recall to job as the shower is faulty playing up too many fault in these showers keep away
