    Is the Mira jump multi-fit a straight swap for the Mira "Zest (J96F)". The water inlet is from the side and has a direct connection to the shower. Will I need any piping is that piping supplied?

      @mirashowers  2 года назад

      Hi Robert, Yes, Mira Jump Multi-fit is a great replacement option for the Mira Zest. You may need to adjust the pipework slightly up/down to match the old product footprint.

    Can the water pipe be fed in from the top right at the back as my pipe comes from the top under Tiles and about 6 inch showing and close to wall so right side a must ??

      Hi Sam, the Mira Jump and Sprint models accept the water and electrical connections up to 36 different installation combinations. The water supply can be bought into the unit from the top left, bottom left, top right and bottom right to allow the easy replacement of most electric showers.

    My Mira jump mk2 electric shower stopped working while i was using it ,a RUclips video helped me to diagnose the problem (solenoid)... After replacing the solenoid the shower works again, However it has developed a buzzing noise , I would be really grateful if anyone could give me some advice on what this could be and how to resolve it...

    • @Tokaisho1
      @Tokaisho1 3 года назад +2

      Buzzing sounds to me like a loose connection on the solenoid, where you reconnected the wires, check the spade terminals are tight and not loose. You can use pliers to push these tight again and push onto the spade.

    What about backplate fixing screws? Do I need to seal them with silicon against the water getting behind an electric shower?

    • @mirashowers
      @mirashowers  9 лет назад +2

      +Derek Bicki The Mira Jump is IP24 rated, so there’s no need
      to use silicone sealant on the screws or around the flush fit casing.

    just moved into a house with an existing Mira shower, the water pressure is rubbish, is there a way to increase the pressure?

    • @mirashowers
      @mirashowers  7 лет назад

      Hi Belinda, it depends on the shower and the water system in your new house. If you have a mixer shower you could potentially install a pump. Our customer service team will be able to provide advice. You can find our contact information here www.mirashowers.co.uk/support/contact-us/

    Save yourself from terrible showers and do NOT buy this shower. It is terrible, in the winter you might aswell just have a shower under the garden tap, you'd get more water out of that. The pressure from this shower is horrendous. If you're on a budget, get a redring bright shower, that was my old one and was brilliant.
