I was scared of jumping to the m18 platform but after a year in I'm so glad I did. My business operates so much more fluidly now and the tools just go above and beyond expectations and I never have to think that my tools aren't up to the job. I remember the joy of when I bought the gen 3 high torque and being impressed by its lighting and totally blown away when I first used it and saw it automatically slows the tool down after breaking the bolt loose to save your wrist just solidified the premium feeling for me. Its as strong as my air impact but way more pleasant to use
Tengo tres de esas force 6 AH ,me sorprendió mucho su rendimiento ,diría que el doble de una de 5ah la uso más para la sierra circular y el router y con eso me dejó los cables y extensiones molestas en el pasado .
This is Not an explanation of the M18 Fuel and Forge batteries, but more of a Milwaukee ad with a list of some of the batteries that they make, instead of the promised (useful) explanation of these batteries in a way that would provide info that helps users to decide what type of battery to buy/use with different Milwaukee tools...so, completely useless to watch.
I can’t say they stand behind their batteries. Return a m12 6 amh that died they went off the manufacture date not the sales date so good luck. Don’t even try to get parts for anything they make. Get sent to a third party to get parts if you even can . They nail there coffin shut for me. That’s been my experience.
They (and most other manufacturers) go by manufacture date if you don't have a receipt. It's a good fallback, but not as good as if you can prove the date of purchase.
I didn't keep the receipts either. Payed cash. 3 of the 4 m18 12ah batteries died at 1 year mark with less than 30 charge cycles. Milwaukee went off mfg date....3 1/2 years old!! Freaking home depot sold me 2 1/2 year old batteries. No more milwaukee and no more home depot. I have bought alot of Flex tools over the last couple years. I've had good luck with both tools and batteries. Also bought a few hercules tools and batteries. They are well worth what little i payed for them.
The underlying battery is the same, just a different name or different connectors. Milwaukee openly hates the consumer, because WHO CAN AFFORD THIS NONSENSE?! They come out with a "new" battery every six months. I have half a garage full of battery-powered tools, but the two I use more than any other are the two wired angle grinders from Metabo. They last forever and I never worry about a battery.
This comment is unaccurate. Upgrading is showing innovation and expected upgrades... plus old batteries are still good to keep around. Lol ur the first guy to ever complain about having a garage full of batteries....
The worst Milwaukee tool I've ever purchased is their M18 Random Orbital Sander. Don't waste your money. Also, the 7.25 M18 Circular Saw is seriously underpowered. It's definitely not worth the cost, especially if you are doing a lot of framing. Hopefully, the new Forge batteries will help out with this problem. The remaider of my Milwaukee tools all get a positive rating.
The Milwaukee 12v and 18vb are absolutely NOT interchangeable. Also the guy in this video said that Forge are "pouch cells" Again they are not. How are so many people who are completely wrong all on one video?

Can I mix different amperage batteries in a single tooling a leaf blower?
The promised link in the description simply isn't there.
Google JP40 milwaukee forge you will see more info about them.

I got a forge 6 and it’s so awesome.
I want a 2ah or 3ah Forge battery option

I got the big pack at home depot for a good deal. I am issued DeWalt at work, but I like Milkwaukee for my personal tools.

They aren’t the same
I have base m18 batteries and high output and the difference is huge when drilling through harder materials

Forge are not pouch batteries, They are TABLESS ROUND cells
Milwaukee has 12v or 18v, and are interchangable,,dewalt has max, xr,, batteries
