- Take a look behind the scenes of our mushroom growing kit production. Every autumn we make & sell many thousands of mushroom kits that are bought as Christmas gifts. They're all made on our small farm and we use every inch of space. It's quite an operation!
Come and have a look behind the scenes to see how we produce, incubate, and pack all our kits and learn some of the ways in which we have removed bottlenecks - learned through a decade of Christmas production runs.

Gracias ! Saludos desde Argentina
Just discovered your channel. The presentation is amazing and the information invaluable for someone considering this as a business or even just as a hobby.
"How long can you keep the kits cold in storage?
This was so awesome to see!!!
How small a container is it feasible to grow oyster mushrooms in? And would sealing the spawn and substrate in a glass jar kill the spawn/mycelium?
Please tell me what the distance is between your stainless shelving. I’m going to use bags. Thank you very much.
What size bag do you use? Cheers!
Where do you order your boxes from?
How much is the kits?
If I use spawn is there like a certain percent I should add to my straw or other mix in order for the mycelium to do good and to get a good fruit? Also how long does spawn last and how can I keep it to store?
It depends on a lot of things, like what kind of mushroom spawn you're using. Some are very vigorous and spread quickly, others take quite a long time.
it's amazing how after pasteurizing, the mixing and packaging is done in an open space without risk of contamination.?
Yep, that's how we've been growing for a while now...this works with a pasteurised process, but not so reliable with sterile substrate
Hey,
I hope that you can help me: My main RUclips Channel (Another Perspective, 38k subs) has receives 3 strikes in 2 days claiming that "mushroom growth time lapse" shows illegal content (drugs). A review of RUclips brought no solution. I got another strike for a video about shiitake mushrooms. Any idea why youtube is starting doing this? I have upload mushroom time lapse for 8 month now getting 5k-30k views and now it seems as all mushroom content is getting taken down and channel are striked out of the youtube game/business. This very small channel also got 2 striked for mushrooms video: RUclips deleted them by saying it shows "drugs". This might harm all mushroom channels earlier or later: I guess you have not gotten any strikes yet?
Thank you for sharing. Why do you use paper bags for packaging your mushrooms?
Are you able to grow mushrooms organically in a natural environment?
If so could you propose to make a video on it?
Your online course link doesn't work.
I bought mine in an online store 🏬

You'll have never heard this one before..............There's not mushroom left in the incubation chamber!
There's always room for more mushroom jokes when you're a Fun-guy ;-)
It's a nice side hustle for mushroom growers to make grow kits but these kind of things can quickly fall out of fashion and can be a death sentence if you depend on them. Sure right now it's all the rage, people are fascinated by mushrooms and constantly ask you about "fantastic fungi" on netflix but give it a year or so and things can change fast.
We've been selling kits like this since 2010 and they've always been popular
It's just going to get bigger you gotta save the earth someday.they make leather from it now
