The whole thing about being "open-minded" about cheating just pisses me off. Open marriages exist. Ethical non-monogamy, polyamory exists. Do that instead, or break up. Cheating is a cowardly betrayal. it's unnecessary and wrong, and I'm not going to be "open-minded" about that.
Although to be clear, especially given the heavier aspects of this particular episode -- shaming people instead of truly helping and caring for people is not the answer, BUT I'm never going to just be OK with someone saying cheating is acceptable or healthy
i dont think is always wrong to be open minded about cheating, because cheating is a spectrum, and we all have our own definition for cheating, people would never agree of what they would consider is cheating, it can come in many different forms. and some forms, depending on the individual, some forms people feel they can move past while some forms they just cant even if they wanted to. i think at the end its your choice with how much you are actually capable of taking in, and thats fine.
I think … perpetually cheating can have so many factors , and a lot of them kind of do relate to one’s character. I’d find it hard to be close friends with someone who constantly cheated on their partner. Not because I feel I have any say on their relationship, but I can’t really trust someone who can hold that sort of duplicity with someone else. I don’t know where that ability or choice stops. It’s like a data point , that can be compared to other aspects of them , but it has a larger effect on the rest ( to me )
I hear this! I stopped being friends with this guy after he kept being all bubbly around his GF and instantly negative about her the moment she left the room. I couldnt overlook the sus of it
@@membriash yes! And especially if they want you to hang out with them. Then I feel roped into the lies. I think it’s more serial cheaters, than someone who did it once , felt bad and leaves the partner etc etc
Yeah the duplicity part honestly scares me. Especially when they are willing to take the secret to the grave. The constant cheating probably wouldn’t be an issue with me, but the ability to sustain a lie for decades is
Another great video, I remember so vividly in Denmark of all places hearing ads for Ashley Madison over the radio as I was driven home from school. It was so absurd to me back then and still is to this day. Healthy open relationships exist, and if you want one of those, you need to be honest and open to your partner, and hopefully care about them and respect them enough to tell them the truth and not deliberately do something that will end up causing them harm.
I know a couple that, somehow are still together, and they act like cheating is a sport. They cheat to get even. Well guess what, when you make little effort to hide your cheating, your kids know.
Thats nuts. It really sucks when kids get involved. Its staggering the number of times you see people on TV still messed up from their parents relationships or especially infidelity
It’s funny, cause as a mom, I know exactly why she left her middle of the night pee unflushed. Lol… A 10 second flush might be enough to make you spend 3h trying to put that kid back to sleep…
I already didn't like the "everyone in my area" guy, but on top of everything else he filmed a dirty toilet bowl and put it in online!? Unacceptable. 1 million years dungeon. Ngl, if I was mistaken for a hacker and I told them it wasn't me, but they still handed over a big bag of cash? I'd take the money. I have student debt, too.
12:38 funny you should mention that it seems staged, there are a couple of videos/ articles of people saying that as well bc the sample he used is diluted by toilet water so unlikely to give an accurate result… I actually recognized that couple from a video describing that scandal lol
