I can't say enough good stuff about neurosurgeons. They put my 2 son's back together after they were hit by a drunk driver. I pray for these people!!!

A friend of mine, Dr. Morris Ray is over 80 years old and still doing consulting work in neurosurgery. He’s sharp as a tack. He’s been a brilliant surgeon as well as a designated pilot examiner for the FAA.

HA HA! Love your narration!!! A neurosurgeon who is gifted as a surgeon, kind and compassionate to his patients and their families, humble and works with his staff rather than being holier than thou and putting himself on a pedestal... you sir, are an absolute anomaly in neurosurgery… Thankful you are mentoring others… You really are a "a breed apart!"
And, you and every member of your staff, and certainly the person behind the camera who interviews you, are helping so many people understand the nuances of neurosurgery and other related matters… I'm sure I can speak for everyone that watches these great videos… Thank you so much!

Aunts Uncles grand parents told me I had adgile hands an excellent mind and someday I could be a surgeon. At 16 I purchased a 1941 Oldmobile. I couldn't figure out why it's not starting no idea. Asked freinds to help me get it going but even knowing I helped them change granny's clutches with their instruction they wouldn't help. 1941 Olds was a classic car it's the last year they were made for civilian use because Olds started mfg. For US war effort. 17 I volunteered for the Army Vietnam era. I told the recruiter teach me mechanics so 63charley track mech is how I learned mechanics. Surgeon no, some people said at least my life wasn't a total waste.

    Hi Dr!
I had a Hemmoragic in 2020 but want to hear something that most interesting?
When I sit side by side with someone and they raise their hand in talk, I think their arm is mine and its the craziest feeling that I cant stop the arm from moving. Its like my brain has identified with whover is sitting on the left side of me and moving their right arm.
    So so strange.

Quick question.. doctors understand how dysfunctional the brain can become with lack of sleep.. why is it normal practice for surgeons to get such a little sleep and residents? I don’t want my doctor missing any sleep.

By the time I become a doctor I’ll probably be at least 50. I don’t care it’s what I’ve always wanted and my life just led me to raising my children and family first. I do not desire retirement ever. I want to work until my body, mind, or death ends my journey.
