Hi. Looking through videos on the eve of 4th alcohol detox. Doing this one at home this time. Googling the crap out of a particular question, but All ‘information’videos are mostly YEARS if not a decades old. Simple question. Is methadone helpful during alcohol detox. (If you are opioid dependent) - it’s not new to your system 🤔

@@stevencurry215 nothing this time. Been there done that. I’ve had two home detox’s , under supervision with the usual meds. One unplanned home detox due to acute illness (Covid actually 🙄) had a coullle of seizures though. So, this time, I’m not coming off as much high alcohol content, but I’m on 10 mil methedone , want to know if it’s a help or a hindrance. If upping it for the first 4 days would help? II’d like to avoid seizures obviously.
