My other favorites were Long Bright River, Magic Lessons, The Vanishing Half, Southern Book Club’s Guide to Slaying a Vampire, and this is not a popular opinion but I loved Valentine. I also like Notes on A silencing. I seriously read some great books this year including many of the ones in your video.

One of my favorite books of 2020 was the Book of Dreams by Nina George, and it is one of the few books that has ever made me cry. I also really enjoyed The Circle by Dave Eggars. Finally, I read Parable of the Sower by Olivia Butler this year, and I loved it. I have read a bunch more, but those are the ones I could remember off the top of my head.
I just read They Never Learn & it was sooo good! I loved that plot twist!!! I have been trying to read Long Bright River alll year & just haven’t got to it. A Man Called Ove, The Only Good Indians, and I'm Thinking of Ending Things are some of my most memorable reads of 2020. Also thoroughly enjoyed Kill Creek (love all the author characters!), but right before it I just read another novel with a similar twist ending, so the overall experience was a little less effective for me. Can't wait to check out The Nesting and The Midnight Library!
Your top 2 is in my top 5 hahaha together with The Midnight library, Written in the Stars, Beach read, Anxious People. I don't know how I'm going to pick a fave yet. I might stick to a Top 10 and that's it.
