I’ve had The Shadows in my cart for months now after reading The Whisper Man and now I’m definitely going to buy it! I found The Whisper Man to be super creepy but I will say I didn’t enjoy the end. I had my window blinds closed for weeks after reading it LOL

The Night Swim is sooo great. I read in 2 days. It reminds me a lot of John Grisham's "A Time to Kill". It's dark, heavy, but so important. If you get uncomfortable with rape, be careful. 4.5/5 stars. About the Hunting Party, I agree I knew who did it with 40 pages in. Too predictable. I added some to my list.
I Let You Go is probably the book I reccomend THE MOST ! (I usually warn people that there is a little bit of a slow start, but it'll be so worth it!) 😃

I also initially DNFd the whisper man. I gave it another chance and ended up liking it, but it was just ok. I don’t understand the hype to be honest. It’s slow and I guessed the plot twist (which in my opinion wasn’t even a fun plot twist, I thought it was an obvious answer).

I've seen a lot of people say they really enjoyed Hunting Party even though they HATED Guest List -- so it might still be worth giving it a try.

Kimberly mccreight does an excellent job of writing books with two timelines. I highly suggest reconstructing Amelia if you haven't read it yet.
