Enjoyed your reaction to Dystopia Symphony which is my favorite Lovebites song 🎵! Also I liked the breakdown of Miyako and Midori jamming 2gether. Just FYI; Miyako and Midori actually get 2gether 4-5 times a week for several hours a time to challenge each other, make each other better!!! It's why when they play live, they don't need to be standing next to each other to still know what the other is doing and going to do! Just subbed
Thank you for listening to my request. Firstly I agree so much what you talked on this review. Sometimes it's hard to explain my commitment to this band to my friends and so on. So I think that Wolfpack is the real place to talk and comment and share these thoughts and it doesn't happen on every reactor, if I can say so. Secondly in this song I must say that the solo section for me is perfect, when it begins it's like a champagne bottle that bursts out while in the bottom stays that heavy, groovy, little progy base and the melody takes it always forward but still it's so repetative like a symphony. I just love this track, one of greatest of all time. Thirdly I think that Miho is a genius by bringing all these ladies together at the first place. She saw what all of them are capable of. Unfortunately all come to an end for her on this band, but the whole band were clever enough to rise again despite of hiatus. I think Fami has something to say to song writing in the upcoming albums cause surely there will be something in progression already. They breath music. And I will be waiting... So thanks for reacting and reviewing this Masterpiece. 🇫🇮🤟
I can’t even express my love and admiration for this band. Their music hits me so hard I can’t listen to them without getting teary eyed. Even during some of their most crazy intense solos, or during one of Asami’s belts, I have tears running down my cheek. I can’t explain what they do to me. I hope and pray they stay together forever. 🤘🏻🐺
This is one of the hidden gems on EP "Glory, Glory, To The World", that came out deep in the Covid-19 pandemic. That's the reason, why there's no life footage of it, they've never performed it immediately after! Later, Miho was gone, and the band went on hiatus... thus no performance until 2021. Other songs from that EP: "No Time To Hesitate" (this was performed in May this year) and "Paranoia". "Glory To The World" and "Winds Of Transylvania" on the other hand had their music videos...
Rock Candy, Thanks again for your deep insights and expose' of what makes LOVEBITES a "once-in-a-lifetime band". When you ponder what it took for them to become who they now are, they've set a standard for anyone - in any field - who appreciates and pursues excellence.
I dont think youve done thunder vengence yet. Its the opening song of their 2020 Divercity concert. Its amazing and to think they keep that pace up for over 2 hours.
I do like all of the compositions done by all the members but I am in love with Miyako's compositions she is a master at writing these incredible intricate songs. If this isn't progressive metal then I just don't know what is. Two of the most brutal songs from the EP of Glory, Glory to the World are composed by Miyako this one and "No Time to Hesitate" The footage and link I sent you No time to Hesitate is the very first time they do that song live
Thank you for your reaction to LOVEBITES. Thank you for analyzing their efforts. Great analysis. The girls will not perform songs live that they have not practised enough. It is a rule of LOVEBITES and their pride. The girls practice before the concert to achieve the level they are capable of reaching at that point in time. Miyako and Midori call each other "partners(相方: aikata)." Miyako said in an interview that they compose different solos for each other, except for synchronized playing, because it is not good to play similar solos. Strictly speaking, Miyako answered that when the group first formed, they played synchronously on the same scale, but they researched how far apart each scale should be. Without Haruna and Miho's(Fami's) precise rhythm, M&M's no-eye contact synchronization would be impossible. I think each part complements the other without interfering with each other. Of course, without Asami's marvelous vocal chords, LOVEBITES could not be expressed. They complement each other at a high level. I can't remember if it was in a magazine interview article or RUclips content, but the girls usually practice twice times a week, and they practice one more time before performing live. There was no mention of one practice time. They also do private practice. Miyako and Midori answer that they are practicing together at Miyako's practice field. This is Asami's live talk before playing other songs. I think this is true of many of their songs. 「我々の楽曲はライブにて完成する!」 「Wareware no gakkyoku wa raibu nite kansei suru!」 Our music is complete when it's live!"

As me, you love Miyako's composing. Why not reacting to her 3 parts video where she compose a demo song from zero to completed ? You can find them easily on Miyako channel.
And to mention that after finishing it. Miyako just says that this song is just for RUclips and is not good enough for Lovebites. But f*** ! This song could be the best song ever for 99% of the metal bands today.
I'm so happy you reacted to and reviewed "Dystopia Symphony". This was my fav Lovebites song until SSS came along. This is a good example of Miyako's genius compositional talent - a song that's a seamless prog-neoclassical blend. This track is a tribute to Beethoven and how he came to terms with his hearing loss, and hence the incorporation of the 3rd movement of the "Piano Sonata No. 14 in C-sharp minor" (aka "Moonlight Sonata"), which the maestro composed when his hearing began to deteriorate. Motifs from Beethoven's "Piano Sonata No. 8 in C minor, Op. 13" (aka "Sonata Pathétique") have also been integrated into this track.
I really want to see them perform this song live. I wonder why they don't add it to their set-lists. evilvolts said they might be saving it for a time when they can play it with an orchestra. That would be amazing.
@@TheCyberMantis Yes, absolutely ! During their first "Judgement Day" LP signing event, I actually posted in the LIVE chat that I hoped the ladies played this LIVE one day. The Victor guy saw my comment and asked Miyako to look at it. This is all incredible information and I greatly appreciate it! The idea, or thought, that they might perform live with a full on orchestra is kinda breathtaking, eh? Wow!

This song, and "Paranoia" off the same EP, are to me their best deep tracks. IMO, Band-Maid and Lovebites can't really be compared. They're different, and in no way Band-Maid is playing Lovebites Metal 🤘. There are 5 virtuoso's in Lovebites.

After watching your analysis including your comments on continuity within song order I will again suggest this song, "Dystopia Symphony" even though you just 'reacted' to it, only this time in context of the CD's final 2 songs, "Paranoia > Dystopia Symphony": ruclips.net/video/yu0NwiC18y0/видео.html These two together are 12minutes, 13seconds and have been slightly modified to enhance Haruna's drums in the mix. Maybe as a drummer myself or that my hearing prefers slightly less dominant 'mids' I don't know, but I do prefer this mix, and gives you something different to hear, especially in headphones. The accompanying video is less distracting than the photos but still appropriate to the 'mood' of these two pieces, imo, and it does include [cc] lyrics. My intent is more for your ears, analysis & contemplation, though your visual 'reaction' may be different enough to merit a "reaction video" from it. I think these two songs belong together. Haruna is simply unsurpassed in defining transitions! These songs are "progressive" imo. 🐺
When it's in your fingers, your mind may wander to the women in the front rows and other distractions. I've seldom worked with other musicians who were dedicated to getting it right, never mind thinking about dynamics. It frustrated me that even to do a note-by-note play-through was like pulling teeth and many musicians were happy just to get their own part "down" from beginning to end, then women and other distractions took over. RC, have you told us your own musical history? You can skip the women and other distractions. And most bass players play Whole Lotta Love wrong.
