If there was ever a metal band that you could slap the word "perfection" on, Lovebites is the closest band to that I have ever heard in my 64 years of life.
Saw them live in London at the start of July. The only difference between then and the official live videos was a much smaller stage for them to move around on and no laser show. But the quality was the same. The hype is real.
This is the first track of Judgement Day album. It's one of my favorites. Even better live. Great mix. Good to see you doing more Lovebites. Now the 20th reactor I've seen do this song and version. From all the people I've read in comments that have seen them live, they are as good as what you see here. They are the Metal Queens 🤘

Great analysis, Fami's extraordinary talent comes to the fore in this video. Her bass sometimes accompanies the drums, sometimes supports the melody. And it creates drama. This version makes me cry no matter how many times I listen to it.

That's a comment I've made about them as well. I have been used to having at least one and sometimes multiple dud tracks on every Album I've bought over the years until I discovered Lovebites and none of the tracks on the 4 of their CDs I've bought have fallen into that category.
Saw them live in Paris city last month, small venue. Amazing experience, they are incredible live, asami was leading the pack, instrumentals were clean, in synch and most importantly the band was happy to interact with the crowd. You will enjoy ! Saw them in London a couple of weeks ago….tight as hell, they brought it to a really small (600 capacity) venue. Probably the last time to see them in the UK at a small venue….top tier metal.
i saw them in Milan. simply amazing! all this girls are super talented. all concert with great energy, smiling and great quality sound. i was really impressed by Asami stage presence and Haruna ...is really an incredible drummer!!
friends, greetings from a veteran Spanish wolf... I have had the privilege of seeing them in Spain, at two festivals, and the experience has been fantastic, and live my beautiful Asami's voice and Fami's bass sound much more powerful and sharper. Seeing and feeling Midori's energy is crazy...they all give it their all, you can't stop looking at them and listening to them. They will leave you shocked, you'll see.

Good reaction. I have noticed that the Metalheads always praises the talent and playing og Asami, Miyako, Midori and Fami but almost never mentions the drummer Haruna. Maybe she does not look like a bad ass drummer 😊but boy she can play. She is one of the best out there, it is not without reason the is called The little big engine. More appreciation of Haruna, please!

Saw them in Belgium and Germany recently . Even on these smaller stages they absolutely kick ass. Both shows were amazing. All ladies were on fire.🤘🤘🤘🤘🐺🐺🐺🐺 regarding W.A.S.P. my favourite songs are I wanna be somebody and Rebel in the F.D.G.
i was watching the live videos they posted and i thought it's the production that makes them sound so good........but they toured in Europe and some used their phones to record the concerts........no production no nothing you have to listen some songs.........from wherever they played........Loud and clear.....
At this point I'm pretty sure Lovebites will never write anything I dislike. As for W.A.S.P.. Saw them a couple of times. Favorite song is "The Manimal" from Live in the raw. Killer band from back in the day.
Fami has more than paid back the trust Asami had that she was the right candidate for the new bassist. She's got 5 strings, and knows how to use ALL of 'em! 🤘🔥🔥💜
Saw them in London 2 weeks ago. They sounded phenomenal live even in a very small venue. Fami ‘s bass could be heard thru out. Just heard a song from Fami with her side project band which she plays lead bass much like the fabulous MISA of Band Maid. Hope the new Lovebites EP will feature more of Fami. It would be a shame to just push this talent to mainly in a support role.
I saw them in June in Paris in a very small venue of 500 people which was full. And I have to say that what you see of Lovebites live on RUclips reflects what you see in real life. Despite the fact that the technical resources are inferior to the concerts we watch from Japan in 5000-person venues, the impression you get is the same. No false notes, perfection, a vision of disconcerting ease. The only slight downside I can mention is that the sound quality in small concert halls is not always at the level it should be, given the band's performance.
Asami and Haruna are mind-blowing live. The others are too, but we all kinda know that already, but live is really where Asami, in particular, shines IMO. MVP when i saw them a month ago - which takes some doing when you think about it.
Recently I drove 2.000 miles to see them live twice. I still have to cope with „post concert depressions“ for four weeks already 😂 Edit: Oops, it were only 2.000 km, not miles.
I had "post concert depression" after seeing them in their first London show in June but didn't after seeing them the second time in London a few weeks later. That might have been because I got a "like" from Asami herself after I posted a comment on her tweet after the 2nd gig where I asked was there any chance they could fit in a third London show before flying back to Japan.
No wonder that FAMI is more prominent in the mix. Earlier live videos were from their first show in march 2023, while this is in september I believe. Which proves she has developed as a bassplayer. Bringing in more progressive elements into her playing. Still managing to follow the song and not overdoing. People who has seen her channel knows shes is a virtuoso bass prodigy. And she does it with a smile on her face.
“developed as a bassplayer” Yes, I would assume so. I think just being in a demanding band like Lovebites would make anyone work harder to improve themselves, then with Fami being so young when she joined, Lovebites is helping to shape her future into something greater. So Lovebites is improving Fami, which ultimately improves Lovebites as a band.

If You see them in Sep. you will understand the true strength of Lovebites. Only one think: before the show Miyako controls all the instruments, but all, except the drum set. Thank you!

Just an awesome opening and Midori's gave a class with her performance on this one. M&M as usual were exceptional but Fami continues to get some real shine time and you can hear her!!!! Haruna and Asami as usual just drive the group and Asami sets the tone as the stage Napoleon. Boys enjoy the concert but please give us who are jealous, some reactions to the Bucket List performance.
One thing that struck me, when I saw them live, was you could hear a lot more of what Haruna was doing. I guess it's hard to mike up all her cymbal nuances but they certainly came over live. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

Lovebites is my favorite band. W.A.S.P. songs: Sleeping in the fire (live) and The Idol, two songs will killer solos.
