It’s amazing that these ladies weren’t even born during the 80’s and early 90’s, yet they truly expressed, understand and show love of Metal during that time. They brought me back to those days. And I love this band ❤️🤘🐺🤘🔥

One of the greatest guitar battles ever ! I really like this studio LIVE version because it sounded really crisp and clear, but I also really like the "Daughters of the Dawn" (2019) version as well because of the stage work and the crowd. Here's the link : ruclips.net/video/acwkphgzNg8/видео.html

others may not agree but this one is my favorite version - in studio live and the sound and performance is flawless. and you get to see them in street clothes - something different. this whole ' awake again' studio live is the entire first cd 'awakening from abyss' done in 2021 - 4 years after the release of the original cd. when i bought this album in 2017 the only 2 songs i had heard from it was 'don't bite the dust' and 'shadowmaker' because they were the first 2 LOVEBITES mv's that were released that year. i was in my van listening to the full cd for the first time and when i heard the solos in this song i literally had to pull over to the side of the road because i was so blown away i almost lost control !
I second that. I love the audience energy of the live live version but this one is cleaner and essentially flawless. And I like seeing them in the studio setting.
Not having seen the other performances I still have to agree with you Doc. This clearly blew me away. I think some people think that a set up like this is somehow "contrived" compared to a "live" audience but nothing could be further from the truth. This is clearly live and they flat "burn it down" here. It tells you a lot about the band when they can perform at this level without the energy of the audience feedback. Thanks for the comment.
It's a great song, but you must do the 2019 version live. Watch out for Midiori's trip with Asami.. She doesn't miss a note.. best wishes from France

As brilliant as this one is, I still prefer the 'Daughters of the Dawn 2019' version. So much more atmosphere. But that might just be me.
But for me it is those rolling bass & drum lines under the guitars, that grab me. It is still probably my favorite from the White Wolves.
I think you'll find the songs from the Abyss show were one take recordings.
I absolutely agree, this is a great performance, but it seems so sterile when compared with the “Daughters of the Dawn 2019” version. Any version is worth listening to though 😀

I would recommend the others to watch too. I love all the different versions because each one has its own distinct vibe, energy, and atmosphere and the solos are very slightly different from each other but also not (if that makes sense) this version is clean and clear and is better than the actual studio version imo. The 2019 version has an energy about it that the fans in attendance help hype the song up same thing with the Paris one in its own way
