This is exactly the video I needed to see. A few CMDRs teach cold orbiting, but I how they maintain orbit and range is how they manipulate the controls and some don't post with a key overlay.
How do you manage to keep your aim so stable when using FA off? Is it just practice or is there some trick to it? It's always incredibly hard to control when I'm in FA off, to the point where I usually just give up and switch to FA on when I need precise aiming for taking out the hearts.
Have you done anything with relative mouse settings and if yes. I usually instead of trying to aim directly at the heart i drag my mouse alongside the same path the interceptor is moving, trying to somewhat mimic its movement.
Yeah, I have relative mouse enabled and it helps a little bit. I think it may have just been the ship I was using, the Challenger seemed really hard to control but I swapped over to the chieftan tonight and it handles much better in FA off. I'll try your advice as well and see if it helps.
This is no different on console as you also have access to downwards and forwards thrust the keyboard is just a reference W - forward F - downwards S - backwards

Correction: Basilisk's top boost speed is 530m/s
Thank you it has become a habit at this point to say 520

@@SolaceOpossum if you need extra advice you can always find me in NEWP discord server
Thanks, I appreciate it.
Adding a Deadzone to your mouse axis(plural) helps me.
I would like to know what is that crosshair that marks the center of the interceptor and when the heart is activated, it marks it directly
Typo at 0:36. Instead of "it turn" it's supposed to be "in turn".
Some good tips
hi ! could you make a link to your ship build ? I'm curious
Oh it's the standard meta chief with ... I don't remember exactly either 1m 3s gauss or 2m 2s. its in newp.io builds section
Wish someone would make a console tutorial on this.

How to do this in federal dropship?
