This is a friggin maestro performance. Excellent show of how to handle the Swarm by "Painbeavering" it. After all this time I still refer to this video on the proper way to fly a Vette.
I can handle a Cyclops solo more often than not but I'm not quite ready to try moving up to Basilisk. Unlike the finesse shown here, my combat style is more like a pitbull.
@@mr.godzilla8331 better convergence = more space in front of you in which all your weapons can hit a small space. Convergence of human eyeballs is pretty good, convergence of horses eyeballs is poor
I wouldn't say so. That kill considered very difficult one. Just for the sake of challenge. Guardian gauss cannon is pretty much a must. But it's not really hard to grind.
@@Beaverling hey I'm just starting to get into thargoid hunting. I got 4 ax multicannons, got any advice? I really don't want to grind for the guardian weapons tbh. I honestly believe that ax weapons are more than capable of doing the job
@@Brody_Austin your skill might be able to get you through the first 2 variants, but the gauss cannon is basically your only option for Medusa/hydra. The human ax weapons are significantly worse.
The short answer is no. Large ships go prismatics because you can reboot and regen to 50% shields, which ends ups being significantly faster than biweaves. The larger hit pool also means they won't go down as quickly to begin with. Combined with banks, prismatics are better in nearly every circumstance. In ax specifically, you just take too much damage in the big ships since the playstyle is basically my guns are bigger than yours.
That makes sense. Appreciate the explanation. I've yet to fight interceptor class Thargoids to-date since I don't have guardian weapons of any kind yet. That said, I do enjoy killing scouts with my Vulture with AX multicannons.
Huh... i do have bi.weaves on my corvette, which is otherwise a hull tank. Mostly for lazt combat in hasrez. Should i take part in powerplay to get prismatics then?@@antanis
не понимаю как был прогрет корабль на 10:31. Я знаю только 2 метода тихий ход (но здесь не снялись шиты) и саморазрушение (но его надо включать через 4 панель и там есть таймер).
а вот эти снаряды(ракеты) по рою, с самонаведением кажется, лучше вроде, чем те что в предыдущем видосе. Интересно, во сколько обходится такой корабль в такой сборке. и такая амуниция на 1 такой бой?
Возможно кажется, они ничем не отличаются и у них нет самонаведения. По цене сейчас точно не подскажу, может 600м. Амуниции может и не хватить против Таргойдов более высокого уровня, но её синтез стоит копейки и можно делать прямо в бою.
красава, я циклопа еле сделал на т10 (для статуэтки) )))) это мой первый и надеюсь последний))) если фронтиры не придумают чего-то там )) а шо надо сделать? убить таргоида оружием людей?

I was thinking I might like to try this but I'm not sure my brain can calculate all the operations fast enough required to survive.

Meh, very well done for using a Corvette but it's definitely not one of the Top 5 Anti-Thargoid ships in my opinion.
