and Im not even into project management. im just a programmer.

You are right. Project Manager will behave like “is it done?.. please follow up and get this done by today.”. All these are only to get PMP certifications but in reality no project manager knows anything.. they just want to promote the project to production as they agreed the go live dates...

@@syedjawahar8542 dude you have zero understanding of project management. What is explained in the video above is what a PjM breathes day in and day out. We ask is it done that's what is on the exterior. But the storm of pressures and milestones and deadlines and what not we go through the inside is a different ball game altogether. The flow what he mentioned is what a project manager goes through day in and day out and since folks like you do not understand project management (which precisely you proved it here), we ask one line - "hey is it done?"
      PS: It's just a clarification.

    • @bhuppi13
      @bhuppi13 4 года назад +2

Well you're actually correct.. In the end that's what most managers actually do.. These courses teach you about how a gun is made, and in most projects, the gun is already there, they have people who need to know how to aim and shoot and how much to shoot etc

YOU ARE THE BEST!!!! I passed my PMP exam yesterday with 4 above targets and 1 target (closing). Closing is a lot more difficult than people think!
I watched this video at least 10 times, re created the chart and added in some cheat notes (inputs and outputs) and studied it like crazy up to the exam. Morning of the test I woke up to watch this video one more time and it saved my ass! RICARDO YOU DESERVE SO MANY AWARDS and I wish I could hug you!!!!
My advice to others, aside from this wonderful video, you NEED to buy the right exam simulator. I purchased one that came highly touted and it was crap. Thanks to redditors I learned of another simulator called prepcast and that is hands down what helped me pass. The exam questions were almost identical in format. This simulator also explains WHY options are wrong and not only why it is right. Do not underestimate this exam!!! Know the processes in and out! You don't need to memorize the ITTOS but it helps to understand them. I got a lot of situational questions that required emotional intelligence. Good luck everyone!
    Thank you again!!!!!!

This video is fantastic and is a MUST WATCH for anybody studying for the PMP, regardless of how you are earning your 35 hours for your application. Worth noting regarding the downloads - the numbering scheme is consistent with the PMBOK for the "canvas" download, but not so much for the "process flow" download. Regardless, EXCELLENT explanation, and thank you for taking the time to do this.

I paid $895 to get a 4 week course taking me through what i need to pass. He basically just read slides to me! This guy right here is explaining it to me so it actually makes sense! Application and logic of the PMBOK guide is more important that memorising all the slides/pages etc. I wasted my money!

I started studying for my CAPM two weeks ago and found the PMBOK very overwhelming. I got stressed and that made me procrastinate my daily study sessions. Gradually, stress has made me lose concentration of the material and I started doubting my capabilities. I was super lost.
This video has so much clarity and order in how projects actually happen that it has given me the boost of motivation and inspiration to pursue my dream of passing the exam by the end of this year and celebrate my victory! Thank you, Ricardo!

Dear Mr. Vargas - thank you for distilling the processes so well. Your video not only made it simple to memorize, but more importantly, I understand the processes and relationships. Your presentation should be mandatory for obtaining the PMP. I enrolled in your PMP course and found it exceedingly valuable. I passed the PMP WELL ABOVE TARGET! Thank you.

Hi Richardo,I failed the exam on Sunday, was about to give up because I was completely lost and also found the material not useful nor interesting. Your video put everything into a proper framework and helped me connect the dots. I have now learnt to appreciate what is project management and how to use it in real life. Tried the exam 3 days later and passed. Can’t thank you enough. Wish you and your family all the best in life 🥰

I just passed the capm examination on 15/03/22, first attempt, above target. Watched a lot of ricardo's videos repeatedly as part of the preparation for the exam. The processes flow diagram was a massive help in understanding the processes and where they belong in the entire process groups. Thank you so much Ricardo! God bless you

I am just starting to formally learn the concepts of Project Management, and am commenting on this video after watching only 8 minutes of it. Previously, I dreaded even attempting to learn PM, but put it off due to my own learning assumptions. Ricardo makes this easy to understand and apparently is building the concepts onto one another so it all makes sense. Additionally, his nice voice and enthusiastic delivery of this lesson is making this video a pleasure to view and hear!
Thank you for uploading this video!

I watched it right before my scheduled exam not so long ago, and it was the best decision I’ve made in some time, truly. As I was reading the questions about integration management I kept hearing his voice explaining how the processes worked. I was really struggling with them and I say with complete certainty, the primary reason that I passed the exam on my first attempt was due to Ricardo’s melodious voice in my head walking me through it.
If you’ve struggled with processes or want a refresher, plan the time to watch this video right before the exam. Best decision you can make for yourself. There is a reason that NUMEROUS RUclips channels direct you to our Portuguese PMBOK savior. Thank you, Ricardo!

Hello Richardo, I want to thank you. Your video contributed immensely to me passing my PMP on first trial and above target in all domain areas. During preparation, I watched this video first so that I could understand the PMBOK guide, and once I did that I was able to grasp and linked processes easily. Honestly, I wish I could see you and thank you for your help. Since that is not possible, as a Christian, I pray that God blesses you greatly.
