Thank you for sharing Ricardo! Agree with your approach regarding time-phased breakdown. Although there is always 3-5 staged life cycles in industrial construction projects and some people intuitively tend to reflect that in WBS, I found delivery based my method to work better (and push phased deliverables into activity levels). A tip from me (not necessarily applicable to all type of projects) is to consider contracting breakdown while composing WBS. This facilitate organising the works into single- responsibility packages 📦
I teach PM to undergraduates. We used to use Microsoft Project for the WBS. What software do you recommend for beginners who are going to go into the field (2024 July)?
I would argue without action, you are not describing work, but are in fact describing a product. So without verbs you have no action and thus no work. So what you demonstrated in this video is a product breakdown structure, just my inference

Ricardo, thank you very much for all your contributions to all project managers and the community as a whole.
Ricardo, you are from another planet. Your level of commitment and honesty in explaining the material is extraordinary.
Thanks super for your kind words!! 😊
What a great insight to not use verbs in the work package description! It makes all the sense, thanks for the great video Ricardo.

Hi Ricardo, always a learning from your videos. May I know if there is a way WBS can be considered as a skill? used as KPI measure? if yes, how?

Hello! I’m wanting to get my PMP certification. Do you have a video recommendation where I should start?
Hello!! I have a lot of videos in my channel, you can check it out :) and good luck to you!!
Do you offer one to one tutoring?
1, All work must be on the WBS
2. Avoid using Verb
3. Do not duplicate
4. No time-based WBS
5. Avoid single child item
