I really like the alucobond panels. Could you share what thickness did you use, who was your supplier, and what was the price per panel? (I have been having a hard time finding a local supplier.) Thanks - you did a 5 star job!
@@krafty65 thickness of the panels I believe was 1/4”. My supplier was out of austintown Ohio called acm innovations. Close enough to me I picked up in person. And I got them at a very reasonable deal don’t exactly remember the price. Thanks a lot
@@ian_whitelock I appreciate the response - I'm in Michigan and I occasionally go to Cleveland, so I will check out acm innovations - Thanks very much!
Thanks. Steel is the better option in my opinion. As it may be heavier it is much stronger as are all intersecting points. If you build a trailer like this out of aluminum and plan to Offroad it I’d be concerned about the overall structure.
I’m building mine now same dimensions as you. I’m almost done with fab work. Steel is the only way to go. Great job
Thanks. Yea steel is always the move over aluminum if you ever plan to off road it
Did you get inspiration from ADV4x4? I’m getting ready to build one and been watching a ton of videos and saw yours is very similar build to his
Yes I did I saw his video and definitely got some inspiration from his build.
Seriously a nice build! Well done
@@tag_76 thanks a lot!
Very nicely done!
Thank you!
Looks awesome mate . Whats your camper box dimensions ? . Currently building my own
Thanks a lot. It’s about 5’x7’6”. Good luck on your build. I have a full build series on my channel
Impressive. I wish I had those skills... how long did it take you to build? And would you do it again?
Thank you. Start to finish took me 7 months. I would do it again but would probably change a few things up

@@ian_whitelock Nice, rough guess on what you have into it in materials?

Thanks a lot I appreciate it!
What thickness of steel did u use bro?
@@moisesvargas4543 3/16” for main trailer frame. 1/16” for the walls
@@ian_whitelock thank you sir
Rugged AF I bet. Do you have any opinion on steel versus aluminum for everything?
