Summer Jobs for Retirees in National Parks

Retire and work seasonally in national parks...
I’ve worked seasonal jobs for the last few years (on and off really for the last 15 years or so).
People who are nearing retirement have asked me, how do you get a job here? They are thinking about getting an RV, and working for a season at parks around the country, and they are not sure where to start.
I get questions like this throughout the season, so I thought this topic might help a few people.
If you’re a retiree, or getting near retirement, and are thinking you might want to work for part of the year in a national park, simply to live and spend time there, or you’re someone who will be on a fixed income and might need to supplement their income for part of the year…this can be a great option.
I would recommend everyone to go for it, just try it out for a season, or part of a season, and see if you like it.
You might find that it is addictive, and working and living in a national park is something you want to keep doing.
