I think the biggest conspiracy is how that Zipper guy can get away with literally flooding the whole environment with eggs every Easter, and get away with it too
I’m less interested in the familial relations between the Nook’s and more interested in why the Nooklings have NEVER aged? Drop your skincare routine boys, pls
I think there is canonical lore that Redd, the fox, and Tom Nook owned a company, and Redd somehow betrayed Nook, or embezzled funds, or something of the like, and Redd ran, leaving Nook with the shambles of the company. I then believe I had read Nook built the company back up from the ashes, and successfully earned a great sum of money. That success is supposedly what carries him according to lore, and when in the original games, Rover calls him mentioning this upstart of a kid who had no money who wanted to start a new life. he empathized with the kid, as he had done the same with his enterprise, and decided to give them what they needed to start-up their own life. He puts is money on you, in the belief that you can successfully start-up your own life like he did his company.
That's exactly right. There's also a friendship that Tom and sable had before he moved and after the downfall, their friendship became strained. Though people always say that Tom and Redd were a couple or Tom and sable were a couple and it just annoys me. The thing between Tom and Redd is based on mythological lore and in this, Sable calls Tom nook a brother she never had.
In the original happy home academy game, Tom nook also mentions that he donates 90% of his profits to an orphanage 3 towns over, and its believed that Timmy and Tommy came from this orphanage that Tom Nook basically funds, looking up to the man that helped provide for them.
@@Sailor-Khione the shipping with Sable is no surprise considering their history and just how close they used to be The shipping with red is because because Fujoshis love to speculate things and then spread them as fact
Tom Nook actually found them while traveling to the city, they were abandoned orphans, after he was scammed by Red out of all his money he returned to the village with them
I’ve heard so many different stories and theories about the nooklings and Tom Nook, but I’m with you Kora I think they’re related to Tom Nook too. I’ve thought the same thing since I first started playing lol 😂😎
I like the idea of Tom Nook cloning himself, but instead of the clones being the other towns Tom Nooks being the clones(Since i theorized that each town is in separate universes) Timmy and Tommy are his clones, which would explain why they looks EXACTLY like Tom Nook, as well as explains why he denies that theyre his relatives(As to avoid anyone asking too many questions about where they came from.)
Why does it always seem like every other Animal Crossing game had more interesting happenings and so much more engagement going on than we got in this version? Alls I know is, if I am going to shell out another $400 dollars for the next Animal Crossing and the console then we better get back some of those old offerings. More folks to talk to, more things to develop (e.g.., Nooks Cranny, Musuem, Able Sisters, the Roost, etc), places to go, optional things that require us to fish, dive, tend gardens and orchards to make money to buy this awesome furniture or gawdy gold furniture. The idea that we have actual tasks to do around the island: a patrol with the security dogs, help deliver mail, work in the Roost, and along with our optional job decorating vacation homes.
How nook got his riches seems pretty obvious to me, I mean, he sells and manufactures, smart phones, ATMs etc And he probably has other stores opened up across the world. That’s definitely raking in some serious income.
Are Timmy and Tommy not his nephews? I’ve literally thought that since I was a child and I could be wrong but how did I get that ingrained in my psyche for like 17 years
I thought tom nook adopted the nooklings from the orphanage he donates to. This was talked about in happy home designer if you make a home for him. But yeah I'm more interested in the world lore.
My villager Marina had a moving out bubble on her head. I hit her with a net and the thought bubble dissapeared. Did the thought bubble move to another villager? Or is Marina on pause and will receive the bubble again?
It will move to another animal. But there's a chance that it wasn't for moving at all. She could have been thinking about a nickname for you, wanting to gift you something, restore a friendship, a lot of different things. Or one I'm not even sure of, they'll see you and say something like your presents alone made them forget what they were about to say or, put their trouble at ease. I dunno why this happens
Tom Nook did not clone himself. That is ridiculous. My island is the real island, and all you all's islands are copycats. Sort of like how there is only but one Santa. Of course I am still trying to figure out how my villagers somehow live on somebody else's island at the same time as mine, but before or after, well that makes more sense. After all, when my villager departed, he or she had to go to somewhere, right? As I understand it, Tom Nook was nearly broke, when he had this crazy idea to buy an island. Maybe his friends put him up to it. He obviously must have borrowed and begged the money from everybody he knew. Then after somehow closing the deal, he then realizes that he must get some ROI (return on investment) in order to pay all his friends back. That is where we come in, helping him to develop his island. No taxes, no utility costs, no inflation, how does Tom make any money? Well not very hard to convince people to move to a tax haven. Tom makes a lot of money off of your house upgrades, and Nook's Cranny is fairly profitable of which he gets a cut. Buy something at Nook's Cranny and sell it right back, and you only get 25% of the cost. So a big markup there. I wish I could move to such a place in reality.
My ACNH Conspiracies: why don’t we get anything for our dear father? Why the time limit on buying turnips? I think turnip prices are tired to cryptocurrency exchanges 😮

Indeed, and we know there is actual passage of time because the little lost cat girl aged between city folk and new leaf
I think Tommy Nook from Wild World grew up to be Tom Nook and had kids named after him and his brother.

Lol I love animal crossing but I have never actually payed attention to any theories 😭
I hate to admit it but I laughed many, many times throughout this video

Not so much a theory, but I made a headcannon on my island that Gayle and Fauna are in love and Molly is their child.
The first theory is kind of bogus because we actually do learn a fair amount about Tom by talking to Sable and learning about their shared past
