I’m surprised you didn’t mention how in New Leaf for Halloween you could get hints from villagers about what villagers were specifically scared of and if you dressed in that particular costume that they were scared of, that villager would then automatically give you candy when you visited their house.

not an old holiday but im really bummed by the missed potential of acnh's wedding season event, we shouldve gotten more of them. it was the perfect blueprint to bring back older npcs, introduce new furniture sets, and work with acnh's update approach. it had the same vibe of pocket camps seasonal events that'd last the whole week to unlock these exotic items. but we only ever got one of them..
@@themarioking7127 i will say by the end of the updates id consider it a "complete" game, all the QOL improvements and features still gave the game a ton of value. it just stings knowing how much was still cut from past games and how half baked the new stuff is. id feel pretty open to a NH deluxe style sequel where it just builds off the main game+dlc and perfects it

¨weeding day¨ Gandalf: AHEHEAHAHE🚬🚬
They also messed up by getting rid of iconic holiday furniture sets like jingle, Halloween, snowman. I liked the jingle set.
I thought the thumbnail was gonna be clickbait but here we are haha
I remember really liking the flea market as a kid, it was in both Wild World and City Folk iirc
not an old holiday but im really bummed by the missed potential of acnh's wedding season event, we shouldve gotten more of them. it was the perfect blueprint to bring back older npcs, introduce new furniture sets, and work with acnh's update approach. it had the same vibe of pocket camps seasonal events that'd last the whole week to unlock these exotic items. but we only ever got one of them..
All of nh is missed potential, it's no big surprise.
@@themarioking7127 i will say by the end of the updates id consider it a "complete" game, all the QOL improvements and features still gave the game a ton of value. it just stings knowing how much was still cut from past games and how half baked the new stuff is. id feel pretty open to a NH deluxe style sequel where it just builds off the main game+dlc and perfects it
You can buy stuff from you’re villagers house in NH, but only when they invite you to hang out at their house
I wondered why WW didn't have holidays so I made my own up. But I now know that the deployment team took holidays out to support the Wii and DS Wifi compatibilities.
I remember being able to go into the light house but in the newer games i got so confused on why i couldnt go inside
I've played only new leaf and new horizon, though I didn't know about weed day. We should bring that back and make it on 4/20
15:01 what happens to the item they steal?
Somebody at Wild World was a fan of M*A*S*H. Pierce, his catch phrase hawkeye...
i see spring sports day and my first instinct is to brace for the player to clip into the ground before either crashing or teleporting to the debug backrooms
Oh gosh, I'm having nightmares of the first Bunny Day in NH. I remember it being the WORST! I still have eggs scattered around from that first Bunny Day. So annoying!!!
9:00 snoop Dogg would love this holiday
Was expecting this to be about Animal Shootout, a hoax “alternate version” of Animal Crossing you can get in the GC version by breaking into Nook’s shop at night (no, you can’t do that) that was popular in the early 2000s.
I loved la-di-day so much lol cause I loved changing the town tune often but sucked at making my own. So I’d run around and let my villagers make one for me ♡
I miss it & miss all these random events and secrets to find. NH feels so lifeless
I miss the fleamarket event🥺
Wait wait wait- my birthday twin has a freaking gun!?
I'm pretty sure the flea market thing is in New Horizons! It's just really rare and you'd have to pester a villager to get it to happen
It’s not
It’s not, because even though villagers can randomly visit your house, they won’t choose a piece of furniture to buy.
its really annoying how much content was never added to anch when i bought my switch because of it
Oh my god i completely forgot about La-Di-Day. I loved that day
I do feel like AC Pop. Growing had the most events compared to any other version of AC Even if some of them felt pointless. I'm not talking about the minor celebrations you see in New horizons, I'm talking about events that the whole town is involved in. I hope for the next animal crossing game they bring back a lot of the missing celebrities and plentiful events that are more interactive
ive played new leaf for years. I DO NOT REMEMBER THAT BEAN ONE AT ALL LOL
I was always upset that I never completed the lighthouse tasks for Tortimer as a kid, my mom always either had me in bed by the time it started or had me out somewhere else.
Halloween in animal crossing 2024: Gimme some Candy or else!…. (Pulls out a gun)…what?
fun fact, if you dig up an egg tree in nh then plant it again it turns into a regular tree
Guns being canon in AC is hilarious
I bet you could get the bean day stuff through fan servers. How come no one ever mentions the fan servers?
3:06 HELLO OLD VERSION OF MY LIL GYM BOI BILL!
At least you could make bets and compete with friends to see which villager or team wins the sports activities lol
Nice clip of chuggaaconrroy on 0:22
I THOUGHT THE GUN WOULD BE CLICKBAIT
05:33 - Wait. _FuPoo?_ I know that person! I really should poke around their channel to see what other wacky shenanigans they put up from way back when. I know they covered the Wii U / 3DS Online shutdown. Heh.
Do you get permission from these channels to repost their videos or are you just stealing them?
Also it’s so stupid that there’s no Canadian holidays but American gets some 😒
I didn’t realise Canada had that many different holidays than America?
@@ShintogaDeathAngel We have quite a few of the same but we do have our different ones for example
We celebrate thanksgiving in October but there’s only a harvest festival option for America which is in November I think it should depend based on what country you have your switch connected to
Yeah you can buy items from villagers in their homes in ACNH as well!
I remember when I played new leaf before she moved shari asked for something yellow. And the only yellow thing in the bag was a bundle of bananas
