My little miracle is my partner is fully on board with starting our journey to find our forever home. It’s been a long while but now we are both excited 😝
Soooo wonderful video Dear Wendy🌸Even if you feel blue - you shine a light to the world! Congratulations to the winners❤️ I have really started this year slow! And this week has not been different 😴 All the lockdown - here in Denmark too - makes me so tired and i feel I’m Looking out on a Strange and unknown world! Its nuts! So its important to do good things for oneself and others. Taking care and being gentle. And notice the little miracles - they are there💙 Like... when you make a new video every friday ... that is something to look forward too❤️Thank you.
If you think I'm gonna listen to a british lady talking about her art and journal and overall daily life for 42 minutes... you are absolutely right!. /sips tea
Oh Wendy...the fact that you use 'bad words' tickled the life out of me, you seem so calm, laid back and gentle! 😂 I love your vlogs and look forward to them very week! 💙🌻
@@theunexpectedgypsy me too... but your potty mouth is just such a joy since you sound so sweet and ethereal at the same time... it's a lovely dichotomy!
Kudos to you for listening so well to your inner voices, for taking the time to slow down, to go home early, to have an early night of it when that's what you need. You're a beautiful example for all of us, and checking in to see what you're up to is a treat I savor. No apologies needed, ever, for what you feel or do or don't do. We simply love you and whatever you have to share with us. You are a treasure, truly.
Thank you for the wonderful "walk" up the Tor. I am "allergic" to actual travel (no energy, too much anxiety), so anytime somebody else will take me to a special place somewhere on the planet, I enjoy it more than maybe you will imagine. I was thinking of all the people so long ago who took all those big stones all the way to the top, and constructed a beautiful thing that has lasted for centuries. Magical!
Congrats to the winners! I think everyone is feeling quarantine fatigue and it is wearing people down. Better days are coming. We have to weather this storm. Before we know it spring will be here, birds will be chirping, windows open with fresh air, and flowers growing! I live in New England and already notice the sun sets later each day! No coffee right now, but ate a decadent chocolate truffle from Yuletide while watching!! lol xxx
I think what we are all feeling is pandemic fatigue. It's now been a year of it and all of it has been uncertain and unstable. It's like we are stuck in fight/flight mode and it is wearing us down and creating a depression like fugue.
The perfect description of what so many of us are feeling. Some days feel like slogging through air that is thick and dark, an effort to move. May we all find some peace soon. 🤍🤍🤍
I think people world wide feel down because of Covid and 6 months down the track I can honestly say..1..Im glad Im in Western Australia, 2 glad we have a premier who cares about his constituents and 3..I would rather be restricted in my movements than sick or dying from Covid. Its a perfect time to think closer to home, breathe deep, garden, paint, sit and listen to Wendy, or play with the kids!! Have a happy healthy day, if you are feeling a bit down, slow down, make a cuppa and read a good book...and smile 😊
I love in the room studio bedroom I live d in but I was exploxited teased about my poems artwork and self by new people right nextdoor they had me arrested at 130 at night now I am barely alive giña Juliet
I love your authenticity so much. It makes me know that I am not alone on those low energy days and My stuff is often in a “pickle” as well and I just sometimes get tired of others that seem so perfect and motivated all the time and always doing what they should and I think what is wrong with me? But you make me feel normal, human, perfectly imperfect! Thank you!
How strange, you could have been talking about my week too Wendy! Each of your days were the same as mine. It's a rhythm of ups and downs isn't it. I feel the downs are time to check ones faith in the perfection of life. You support me by reinforcing the need to self love. That is always the answer ♥️
Hello Wendy from Ontario Canada. my little miracle of the week was getting up this morning and seeing your video...sitting down with a cup of tea and gratitude/art journaling and watching it 💙 Thankyou for sharing.
Congratulations winners! Even when you're in a funk, Wendy, you still inspire. I hope your days and spirit brighten up for you soon. Thanks for the walk about with James as well, it was lovely. xoxo
I've been in a funk too, and also not feeling productive in my artwork even though I have a shop update scheduled in a week! I'm glad I'm not alone in feeling this. A little miracle I had this week was starting my garden from seeds. Excited to see what pops out of the soil!
I have been feeling the same way! I feel like the last year has taken so much out of me. I am always exhausted no matter how much sleep I get. But I do find your videos so relaxing! You do beautiful work and you are adorable!
I've had a similar malaise lately. It's not depression, but I think you're right, this pandemic is just stretching on too long. Today I did a lot of tidying up in my studio and looked at it with new eyes. Normally I have a lot of mess, it's just how I work. I am thinking of moving some tables and shelves around and adding some more lights. The clean start seemed to spark some new ideas. I laid out the supplies for two new projects and actually started on a third. I loved the video of Glastonbury Tor -- I haven't been there since 1982! It does have a tremendous clean energy to it. This is the first time I have seen your channel and I'm glad I found you. New subscriber here!
Thank you for sharing, Wendy! So encouraging to know others are feeling the start-of-year low energy. I'm a painter and have been struggling with the lack of motivation and general meh-ness, so it was nice to hear i'm not alone! Look forward to watching more of your videos :) x
Thank you for sharing I loved this 😊 The walk up the Tor made me cry happy tears. I have not walked up there yet and I got engaged in Glastonbury August 2020.. You are doing a great job keep safe and giving yourself all the TLC needed 🙏🌻🙏
I have days when I feel my head is full of cotton wool....which at the moment is all the time.😱. I'm just tired all the time, even trying to be creative is hard work. Your vlogs give us all hope that there are many who feel lost. Thank you.📖✏️🖋🖌🎨💖💋
Sorry you have been struggling Wendy. Your honesty about issues is one of your attributes that is so loveable. I find that my creativity seems to grow new buds and blossom during my difficult times. I wish this for you as well.
I love your videos and art work. I always feel like I'm having a little social, some therapy and your very real. Artist always need to do some self care. So very inspiring. Sometimes when I have a hard time getting up or starting. I count from 5 to 1. It helps me step forward. Try it and see if it helps. Thank you for sharing your amazing life with us.
I’m so glad you explain your blues. I’ve been down in the dumps for awhile now and it’s nice knowing I’m not the only one struggling with this. Sending lots of virtual hugs xx
Oh I've always wanted to climb the Tor but never had the chance when I've visited Glastonbury due to bad weather. Thank you to James for taking us with him...Such a treat and makes me look forward to when I can see it myself! Take care x
Don't feel guilty about going home early! You deserve it, you do so many different things. I'm happy to see you being as free as you are. You don't have regular "hours". Lucky you!! I really love relating with you about your feelings. I wish you were geographically near me to be my friend. I think we would get along very nicely! Thanks for sharing your life!
Lovely Wendy.....I'm sorry to hear that you're feeling the weight of the world wearing you down, I think it's a general experience right now and the low skies and gloomy days of winter certainly don't help. My little miracles come in the form of seed catalogues and garden daydreams lol....anything to keep me plodding steadily onwards. Congratulations to the winners -- what delights they have in store!! Be well xo
January is a time to rest and reenergize. Don't put stress on yourself. 🙂 we are all entitled to off days. I love your videos and seeing the beautiful scenery. And I had to laugh as I am constantly losing things I put in a "safe place".
Thank you, James, for taking us on your walk. I’ve got a cast on my leg at the moment so I can’t walk and I miss my walks a lot. This way I got to enjoy a walk without moving! Wendy, thank you for your vlog. It was lovely as usual!
Love your videos. You have inspired me to start drawing and painting and journaling after many years of ignoring my gift from god. Thank you , thank you for your videos and discussions. I resonate with them 🙏🕯
I understand how you're feeling . I too have been in this kind of slump and depression for a while. But you encourage me and I am collecting whatever I can to start doing my own journals and maybe get back into some of my writing and artwork.... which is pretty much the only thing that saves our sanity in this insane world. Watching your videos is a very calming part of my day. I love the new ones but I go back and watch all the old ones too. Blessings on you and your family and maybe we all will be looking towards brighter days.
Congratulations to the winners!! Oh the Glastonbury Tor is magnificent! I had never heard of it, thank you James for showing us, I would love to go for walks there! Sometimes what we don't feel like doing, is exactly what we need to do, we just need a little push... so maybe going to the Tor is exactly what you should do, it might do wonders and help you clear your mind and start fresh! Hope you feel better soon and wishing you the best! Hugs from Québec Canada!
Hi Wendy, I've been watching your vlogs for a few months now and this is the first time I've commented. I love everything about your vlogs. You are such a lovely person, very down to earth and honest. I always feel like you are talking to me personally through the screen as I share my coffee with you. I love the art journals, something I've always wanted to do and you've inspired me to give it a go. I really enjoy when you take us for a ride in the car with you past the Tor. I'm sorry to hear you have been a bit down lately. Another lady I watch on YT also suffers from the blues during the English winters, seasonal affective disorder. One of the reasons my parents immigrated to Australia from the UK nearly 50 years ago. Wish I could send you some of our Aussie sunshine to cheer you up, as I know it was a big effort for you to get this weeks video up and I'm so glad you did. Thank you xx
Thank you again.... And don't worry about your mood... Everyone is more or less like that and us, as artists/Yoga people are especially empathetic and can actually feel all the stagnant/depressed energy all around! Keep on trying and doing all you do and you will get through this 🧡
Hello Wendy and everyone 👋. I think you are being very wise listening to your body and soul at present. Self care is so important. I'm just realising this myself. Do what you feel is best Wendy Home is your safe haven to relax and heal. Thank you James🤗 for taking us up the Tor. Happy memories. I went there on my birthday 4 years ago. Nearly got blown off the top. I ate birthday cake up there and there was a young man playing the didgeridoo. Magical💫🧚♀️. A good swear helps to disperse road rage. Sending hugs Wendy. Love to you, James and everyone ❤ xx
Huge Hugs - You are wonderful. I appreciate your vulnerability. I'm new to your channel and I'm loving your content. You inspire me. I'm getting back into art after a nearly 40 year hiatus, raising children, teaching full time.
Loved the walk up the Tor with James and I can see why a lack of energy would curtail that idea. Hope you get to feeling better soon and can join him. I can see why a trip up there and looking at the scenery from that advantage would get the creative juices flowing. Take care.
What a crazy few weeks it’s been for the whole world, it’s no wonder we are all feeling a bit flat and a bit discombobulated. I know I have been, but your video and your sweet gentle manner have inspired me again. Hope next week is a better one for you. 💚🌿💚
When it's time to go home listen to that prompting there's a reason. You need to have that time alone with yourself and it doesn't matter what the reason is and you don't need to explain that to anybody. I really really enjoy your videos. When you get some more art up in your shop I'm going to buy some they're so charming. Be well .
Aww Wendy- another lovely video from you! Such a nice way to start my weekend. Here in the U.S.A. It’s been such a funk of a week for me and many other sensitives. My goal was just to get through it, after the national events of the last few weeks..., and hold space for our peaceful transfer of power. Mission accomplished but it’s been exhausting. The energies should begin to settle now by the end of the month. Thanks for modeling such good self care to us. 💕🌸🕸🌿🌱
Lovely video. So pleased to see the Tor. My bestie has just moved to Amesbury, So Glastonbury, Chalice Wells and the Tor are all on my ‘to do asap’ list as they are no too far away! You’ve cheered me up no end, im experiencing the doldrums, too. I do hope you feel brighter soon. Thank you. 💐💐xx
Hoping you are feeling better - it is strange times we live in and it is taking our "norm" into uncharted waters! Winter is a bit of a melancholy time already and then add the nasty virus it can feel quite disconcerting. I have changed my diet (drastically) which - very surprising to me -- has really helped. Taking good care of yourself is the key! Congrats to all the winners!!!! Enjoy the sweet gifts!!!
I am an avid #MentalHealthAwareness advocate and spoken word performer, and I love this so much. I travel the country trying to bring that awareness on stages, in classrooms, hospitals, and on my RUclips channel, so I get excited when I see other advocates. 💙
Fab video as always Wendy! I too am struggling with low mood and lack of motivation as usual in January and February but it seems worse this year. Good to know that I am not alone. However come 1st March I start to feel better as it's the Meteorological start of Spring! I love to see snowdrops at this time of year as I feels its Mother Nature saying 'I haven't forgotten you, here is some beauty to let you know that Spring will return'... Keep warm and safe everyone xx
I was watching some of ur earlier videos today before I went to work this afternoon which put me in a really good frame of mind. I'd only been in work for an hour and was finding it really hard to stay happy. I work in a local food store & some of ppl that come in are very trying. Like u my ups and downs are draining. If we keep going we will get back to normal soon xxx
Hi Wendy, I got the giggles during the swearing, road rage part of your video. Sometimes "gosh darn" and "meanie head" just don"t cover it!!! Thanks for your videos. Congratulations to all the winners!
Hello my dear. I am a recent follower and so understand what you are experiencing. Since this new year began I have been in a slump and fog too. It doesn’t help when suffering from severe back pain that makes it difficult to do a lot at one time. I love your honesty and the way you own what you are feeling. This too will pass. In the mean time do what is best for you and your health. I can relate to the studio not being as you wish it to be, so maybe a slight rearrange may help the flow of energy. I did that in my home art studio/office and it helps. Stay safe and healthy. Loved the nature walk so much. Peace and love. 💐🌟
I’m so happy to have found you on RUclips. I absolutely LOVE your videos. I have been binge watching since I discovered your journaling videos. I look forward to seeing more of your journaling vids. Happy Journaling. Much Aloha~ Jessica
I love your footage from your walk in the woods, and you choose the best music to accompany your vlogs! I hope the winter blues leave you soon. 💙 You bring so much light to an often dark internet!
Congratulations to the winners👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 loved the walk video, especially seeing the tree and again the swans. I always find nature soothing and my heart gravitates toward trees as they encourage us to look up even as their branches are silhouetted against the grey winter sky.
Don't fret, spring is coming! I was happy to see a notification from you. I listened while doing construction bids that I was dreading, lol. Helped to keep me focused. Have a great weekend!
Sounds like you’ve had some mischievous fairies playing with your stuff Wendy! Love to hear how much care you are taking of yourself and how much you’re listening to your body. Good reminder for all of us! ❤️
Little miracles? Ummm...We watched our neighbors in the US inaugurate a new President and VP. I feel like they have turned a corner into calmer waters? Hopefully! Politics aside, I have been exploring the subject of Ancient Egypt (for my own reasons) and doing drawings, collages, and paintings. The style is so rigid and iconic that it forces me to be very precise, almost like geometry. This is good for me to practice with lots of repeat patterns and it also gives me a direction to follow, so I feel motivated. That is a little miracle because I can get distracted. Plus, I am trying to write about the subject (fiction) so I feel doubly inspired by creative writing and art making. Keeping an art journal has been like the grease that gets the wheels started in the morning, so thank you for some of your previous videos on the subject. You have inspired me to start on this journey and remain consistent. I have my off days too. Sleeping on a regular schedule has been difficult at times. My brain just has a hard time to settle down, lol. Thanks for sharing. Even when your days are challenging it is still great to have that "check in", especially since we can't get out. Take Care.
Your accent and some of your mannerisms remind me if my late great grandmother. She was an amazing artist too. I really enjoy your posts. Thank you for them.
🥰 dear Wendy, I can't even begin to find the words to explain what your videos mean to me 🥰 listening to you being so honest in a good way makes me feel not alone in my struggles with my energy levels and my mood 🥰 im not pushing myself to be productive you say and that alone lightens my heart. For you obviously because otherwise you'll work yourself into a real burn out. But for me too because I need to constantly remind myself of that. So 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗 thank you and warm wishes
Thank you so much. I am having such a tumultuous time, I feel like I am bracing for the next disaster. Your contact is so incredibly soothing, you make me laugh! There is also something weirdly comforting to not be alone in sadness and brain fog, wishing you all the best in moving forward and free!
Thanks Wendy for your video and thank you James for taking us up the Tor! I've been there once many years ago. Very magical place. 🙂 Lots of love (self)care! 💜💙🧡💚💛
Hey Wendy , The Energies are very intense like we are all having an upgrade ...needing sleep ...ear ringing ... just give Yourself lots of water ..I have been having lovely naps xxx take care and thanks so much for sharing xx
Was waiting very eagerly for your post Wendy. I think all of us are feeling little foggy in the head, last year has taken a toll and it's still not over. We just have to move on one step at a time. Have a lovely weekend 😘🌞
We are fatigued and frustrated. I miss being able to just go to NYC or on a plane. All I want is for Covid to become manageable. Masks are probably here to stay, which is fine, and in cold weather they are great! Art has been a saving grace and a welcome piece of self care. Your channel has been especially helpful during these unusual times. I look forward to your next upload :)
Hello Wendy. I had to laugh when you said about don't know if there will be a video this week, and yet you did and probably a bit longer than passed ones. I also enjoyed seeing the video of James' walk, a nice combination. My chiropractor (who is doing online breathing exercises which started this week) said it's this time of year where people feel a bit stuck and yucky and even more so this year because of the pandemic stuff. She said Just Be. And just observe things going on with you, and Just Be. So it sounds like you are doing all the right things as you are listening to your needs, and going with it. And then at some point things will start moving and energy levels will increase.. I enjoyed the choosing of the winners, even though I did not win, it was quite exciting. I haven't checked out your shop before but will do next month. I am all for supporting my fellow artists and I do like your paintings. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for making it this week💟 Wednesday seems to have been a bad day for many.....maybe something in the air....? Have a joyful weekend and an energetic start to next week!!!
Thank you for your honesty Wendy, we all feel out of sorts at times and can't quite put on fingers on why. Congrats to the winners, lucky buggers 😏. May you have a wonderful weekend !

Wendy, I hope that you have a better week next week. Take care. Congrats to the winners.
Heart of Kentucky. We love you, Unexpected Gypsy. Hope you get rest, anytime you need to. Katie.
Thank you so much for sharing. I have had a bad week with everything going wrong. I love watching you videos. They are so uplifting. Take care.
Love your creativity & positive thoughts 💕 thank you so much
You are not alone in your feelings! New to your RUclips and am happy to be here. 💗
Your work is so very lovely. Also appreciate your genuine spirit . 💐✨
You are spot on ! I think we were all holding our breath until the 20th passed !! Now let's breathe!!! Hugs from Kansas
@@KrissiCreates hugs back to you from NY. It sure does feel good to be able to breathe fully again!
Self care is so important. Glad you are doing that.
Thank you. 💐💐xx
Thank you so much for sharing so much Wendy, and for sharing James’ tour of the Tor! You are both adding so much happiness and calmness to the world.
You speak for many of us during these trying times Wendy... XO
Yay look forward to your video's ... Just to sit and enjoy ... listening and unwinding ❣️
so lovely to hear Jo, xxx much loves and cosy hugs to you x
The pasture is beautiful and peaceful.
Congratulations to the winners. Aren’t we all a tad funky lately waiting for Spring🤗
TFS sharing your days with us good and not so good☺️You make me smile over here on the other side of the pond. 🙏
Thank you for the video. I loved the beautiful scenery. You & James always put together a great video.
Don't fret, spring is coming! I was happy to see a notification from you. I listened while doing construction bids that I was dreading, lol. Helped to keep me focused. Have a great weekend!
Hello Wendy, please show us how you do your different hairstyles. Thank you
I may do! TY for the idea xxx loads of love xx
Take Care.
Congratulations everyone! 💙💙💙
your videos always are such a ray of sunshine to my life! Thank you for putting some much love in to everything!
Your accent and some of your mannerisms remind me if my late great grandmother. She was an amazing artist too. I really enjoy your posts. Thank you for them.
You are such a joy!
So lovely of you to give away your beautiful art and kudos to the very lucky winners!
Agree on the digital detox day. I am trying to practice that too. 😊
Hey Wendy , The Energies are very intense like we are all having an upgrade ...needing sleep ...ear ringing ... just give Yourself lots of water ..I have been having lovely naps xxx take care and thanks so much for sharing xx

TY Jennifer, and much loves xx
Love your scarf! Love your vlogs! So inspiring and soothing
I always come back to her videos for peace and comfort after a chaotic day.
Was waiting very eagerly for your post Wendy. I think all of us are feeling little foggy in the head, last year has taken a toll and it's still not over. We just have to move on one step at a time. Have a lovely weekend 😘🌞
Such a lovely video - more like a film really. Thank you x
Thanks so much. Love to listen to you.... From BC Canada
Thank you. Love your vlogs. ❤️
Thank you for taking us along on the road trip - stunning countryside.
You have a fairy like presence. I enjoy your videos. They’re other dimensional.
Thanks for sharing.
congrats to the winners :) Sure hope that you feel better soon Wendy but totally get the feeling... been feeling out of sorts big time this week
Really liked your video and paintings are out of this world. You do look tired though take care of yourself lots of love 💕
