OK, I love Daryl Hall and John Oates, make no mistake. But can we discuss G.E. Smith? Most folks do not talk about him like he's guitar royalty, and I'm sure I don't know why. What a freaking sound!
G.E. Smith was the guitarist that played the leads on their albums. He's the driving force for Hall and Oates. Wished he would reunite with them on their tours right now. Incredible guitarist. Killer riffs and solos.
+Tommiegirl G Indeed a legendary lead guitarist and an all around talented musician. I always got a kick out of seeing Smith filling in on drums during that same Hall & Oates concert during the song: _One on One_ at 0:27 of the RUclips video: *Hall & Oates - One On One (Live 1983)*
Gangnam Style, my a**. More than 30 years later, this song still rocks and people remember it fondly. You think in 6 months people will remember what Gangnam Style is? I don't think so. And yeah, I'm Korean BTW.
how awesome is john oates? A: Very THat dude isnt what most people think, Hall does not carry this band, J Oates is an equal partner and along w? the Aleen sisters, Daryl Hall would not be as famous or well known

GE Smith is indeed Royalty 🎸 👑
Tommiegirl I agree I play guitar and follow many guitarists but I don't rate him much although blues is his true forte

Private eyes. I'm watching every move.

Playback!
Alessandro Prioschi the tempo is faster and he’s doing the lyrics different. There might be recorded backups but that’s it.
Xd
Just proves modern pop music just plain sucks.
Do you mean that pop music compares to this as crap, or that this is crap?
